Nice hotel but noisy due to door design
Overall the stay was pleasant, as the hotel is very near to a BTS station, with good amenities (excellent spa) and friendly staff. However, the room doors are designed in such a way that they can't be closed gently from outside. Almost all guests from my floor slammed their doors on their way out so it was very noisy.

Good location , friendly staffs and clean enough!
Actually ,this hotel is not bad ,but i should say,except the location and the lobby ,nothing special. Although it's clean enough for me ,but the design of the room is really too normal and there aren't any special equipment or furniture in it. So considering about its fee, its performance is not good enough .Next time I will consider another place. But of course ,the staffs there are friendly and useful!

Great to stay many times
This is the first time I stayed at Mandarin hotel. This is a good hotel with beautiful swimming pool, friendly staff, clean room and near Sam Yan station. Breakfast buffet has a variety of foods.

Mandarin/Narai Hotel and Taxi Service
Breakfast not really good,I its moderate. Last two weeks ago I stayed at Narai hotel,breakfast is better,room rate is much cheaper,superior room , staff is also good as well as location. Taxi piying at the Mandarin hotel refused to use meter fare. One driver I got its number set on meter but he is taking us a long ride to the airport. I knew the route very well and I question him he just pretend not to understand!I am regular traveller between Bangkok/China/Taiwanand Singapore!

I most say that I'm impressed by Mandarin Hotel, great bed, friendly and professional staff, and very clean, breakfast buffet had all the heart can disire, I will for sure visit this hotel again.

All staff very well-dressed and looked polite but only skin-deep
If you happened to look like a Thai national (but of course I am not) and not able to speak Thai like their local, they suddenly turned mean, malicious and totally ignore you. I was so-called dressed smartly casual with t-shirt and short. When arrived at the morning coffee house asking for a seat for one person, one of the three waitresses started to speak Thai to me. When I responded in English, they all turned wild and malicious. The first waitress asked for my room registration card and passed over to the next waitress for some action. strictly no word spoken. Meanwhile, 3 guests turned up and all the three waitresses suddenly ignored me but turn-around to welcome these other guests. When they were accompanied to their seats, one of the waitress began to register my so-called seat booking and asked me for payment, just asked for the breakfast money but no other word for explanation. Knowing what was happening, so I paid. After collected the cash, one of them just passed me the receipt but with not even a word as if they were all deaf and turned away to welcome other guests. Well, I do look like a Thai but that should not prevent them to welcome me in the same way as they welcome all other guests at the reception. Should any one asks if I want to book this hotel again, I will have no better way to say other than to offer my 4 letter words !!!
