Manor House is in a nice location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained - if a little dated in style - but that wasn't a problem as it was very comfortable and nice and quiet at night. The pool area was great for relaxing and of course also for swimming. As I said the staff were really friendly and helpful and arranged taxi's and tuk-tuks and even confirmed coach travel for us. The only downside for us was the breakfast and choice of food on the menu, which is very restricted. There are lots of food options/restaurants nearby so it isn't much of a problem, but I do think it is one thing they could improve on, which would turn this hotel into a 5 star venue. Highly recommended.

I think the beds are awful to sleep on it you can sleep, no quilt just sheets, on the positive, location was great only $1 in tuk tuk to local cafes if you didn't want to walk on the heat..was no couples when we stayed only gay men which was a bit sad... Aussie owner was good but staff ran the place with a big smile.. Wouldn't stay again here.. Lee Aussie

A very comfortable and welcoming hotel, we would recommend to travellers to Phnom Penh. The renovated pool area is beautiful; a lovely area to relax in after a day out and about.

Construction going on throughout stay

I believe a hotel has an obligation to forewarn that there will be construction going on or some kind of compensation should be offered. Upon arrive the entry way and pool area was in disarray and when departing five days later nothing had changed. Some people go into the hotel business thinking spreadsheets and bottom line numbers without knowing the first thing about hospitality. Manor House is run without any attention to detail or knowledge about what makes a stay memorable and a guest wanting to return. It seems the place is run with short-term profits being the only focus. My recommendation is to search for a better "3 Star" accommodation where the owner and staff have a background and training in the service industry.
