Quiet Paradise
Nice little getaway from KK. It is a shame about the rubbish in the water and on the beach. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The island is very quiet of an evening once the tourists leave. We were the only ones dining in the restaurant on our last night. We stayed for 3 nights but I think 2 nights would suffice.

Great accommodation
Lovely massive room up the hill, with fantastic view of the beach and ocean. They had considered everything in the accommodation, and the staff were all wonderful. The restaurant though was very disappointing. Like Faulty Towers. A buffet breakfast without coffee or made-to-order eggs on the first morning was a surprise. As was the unplugged toasters and warmers, and no power board in sight. A peanut butter sandwich was the only option for the vegetarian. And a bar-tender who doesn't drink alcohol is a rarity, but then to recommend the coco-loco cocktail (cocktail in a coconut) to me, only to be told by wait staff that there were no fresh coconuts on the island so no coconut cocktail......The little beach 'fast-food' cafe that is not run by the resort was selling coconuts.....

Everything's nice
Hillside villa is just next to the beach, which is nice. Easily accessible to any kinds of water sport. The breakfast is also good. The set dinner that needed to be booked in advance is great! Only one thing: be careful of jellyfish on the beach.

The water is crystal clear, sand and jungle are beautiful. Best view I had in KK. The people there are friendly and helpful. To find bones in the ege, the bottom of sea shall is not that clean. And there's a boat late at night producing noise but I don't know if it is always like that. The service people of the park entrance is not friendly at all. The people of hotel are the best. Overall, very nice stay!

Beach chalet is not quite at the beach
location on the island
Well received upon checking in. Stayed at Chalet no. 9. Beach chalet wasn't quite on the beach. Furniture and TV is old and worn-out. Telephone wasn't working. Hillside Chalets are closer to the beach. Food is inconsistent - same laksa cooked differently between lunch and dinner. Drinks are expensive - Small mineral water is RM7 and fresh coconut is RM12. Nice quiet beach after 4pm (last boat out for the day-trippers) and good sunrise/sunset. Morning swim is nice but when the tide is low, it's difficult to swim as it's too close to the corals.

Relaxing Beautiful Stay
Gorgeous Beach Villa, Friendly and Accommodating Staff, Water Sports
Excellent stay! Was there for four nights over Christmas and the buffet was great, staff were friendly, and the rooms were very comfortable. Internet is very slow, but go to unplug from reality and enjoy yourself!

Lovely and comfortable resort
Large, clean and comfortable
It is great to stay at Manukan Island Resort, the place is good for honeymoon couple, just 5 mins to the beach, the staffs are friendly, but no free transport from KK to Manukan, need to pay 30rm for a single ride, the last jetty from Jesslton point is 1615 hrs, it is inconvinence if the guest miss the jetty. And wifi only access nearby the reception.
