Breakfast could be improved

Spacious bathroom, room comfort and surroundings
Though it's a bit far off from town, but we find it ok as we have a rented car. The room was comfortable and we like the bathroom that comes with jacuzzi. Very quiet and a good place to come back to rest after a long day out. However, we feel that the breakfast spread can be improved further. With the addition of some fried bacon, sausages and eggs would have made the stay even better.

The kids loved it.

Location, breakfast and our hosts.
Dirk and Pam are wonderful and welcoming hosts who have created a lovely place to rest and relax while exploring the Margaret River area. They are more than happy to suggest insightful itineraries and offer advice and equally happy to just leave you in peace and let you get on with it. The breakfast is simple but extensive and extremely well done. The kids loved having the garden to run around in and chase the dogs, ducks and anything else they could find. A real home from home. When I return to Margaret River to explore some more this will certainly be the first place I consider staying. Just what you need and none of what you don't.

Hated to Leave-Can't wait to go back!!!

1. host and hostess! 2. food 3.comfort and location
Dirk and Pam were SO accommodating. Dirk sat down with us every morning to help us map out our day. He knew everything about everything in the area. There were at least six different choices of homemade bread every morning, along with even more fresh made goodies, you could have fresh eggs (Duck or Chicken) in any form, honey fresh from hives, really anything you wanted. The rooms were clean and comfy and supplied with local things. If you liked the soaps, they told you who made them. Loved the jams, they came from that place, Pam had fresh flowers everywhere right from the yard. the house sits in the middle of several acres of forest so its very quiet and pleasant but just minutes from town, the beach , or even the golf course. We would love to return one day and would definitely stay right there!

An icing on the cake of my Magaret river trip

helpful and friendly host, 5 star bathroom, and the cozy house in the forest
The host is very helpful on giving us day to day sightseeing recommendation based on our time and interests. Loaring's 5 star bathroom, heated bed(!), lovely garden, and their friendly dog Belle made it even a wonderful and relaxing 3 night stay for us in Margaret river.

A quiet, friendly retreat.

Friendly and relaxing atmospher. Close to wineries and places of interest also close to a fine choice of restaurants. Very clean and comfortable.
We had a wonderful three days stay at Loaring Place. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and this really suited our needs. Dirk and Pam the hosts, were great and took good care of us and was always on hand. We had plenty of privacy and peace, being nestled in the middle of a forest, but were close to many attractions. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the spa was brilliant. A lovely, relaxing three days that we both enjoyed. We will return to this beautiful spot. Thank you Dirk and Pam.

Wonderful enjoyable stay

Big place , nice lounge, superb hosts
It's so nice that it will be my reason to revisit Margaret River. The place is extraordinary interesting. We walked outside and accompanied by the host. We were introduced to his workshop where he extracted honey. We visited his beehives. We saw ducks on his tree. Lots of things to see there. When we arrived we saw two wild kangaroos at the backyard of our room! In this trip we stayed in about 5 different places. This one is unbeatable.

Different experience. essentially bed & breakfast

Bed & breakfast, cosy and unusual
It was a atypical experience where all guests were house in a big property. Essentially a bed & breakfast. It was nice and cosy and great home made bread for breakfast.

A welcoming B&B

Personal welcome, local knowledge and room comfort
We were welcomed with the resident dog first and then showed to our room and shown on a map some suggestions on where we could go around the area. The places they suggested were all fantastic! The only bad thing was there was no phone reception so you had to go 10 min up the road to magaret river to use your phone.
