We stayed with our four year old. Hideaway Farm was a perfect holiday. All the roaming animals, we got to feed them and meet the new Borns (2 baby lambs and chicks were born during our stay). Farmer Vinnie and Lisa just made the holiday for us. Thank you!

The 3 bedroom superior apartment was fantastic, newly renovated. However farm was disappointing. Not a lot of animals to feed, farm was quite small and there was no tractor ride for kids.

Fireplace in winter!!
The fireplace works best, as we hardly have experience in hot country like Malaysia. It was an extraordinary experience to us, rooms are clean, its just that the toilet and bathroom are separate, toilet is in d end which is abit far during midnight. Animals are not so much as my expectation. the ostriches scared me though. If there's a little play area for children will add credit to the farmstay.

Farm stay
The cottage was big and good for 4 adults. The only downside was their air con system. I was there end May and the weather was between 8 to 14 degrees and they only had 1 air con in the living room which has been program to switch over every 2 hrs. This was impossible to keep the cottage warm thru out our sleep. There were no air cons in both rooms as well, though there was a fire place, it doesn't really help when the air con turns off. Perhaps they may want to consider improving on their air conditioning systems. I can't imagine if it's winter or summer.

Very friendly hosts, near town area
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with old parents and a toddler. My Son is so happy to wake up seeing sheep, chicken, turkeys and peacocks roaming around the farm. The cottage is big, kitchen is big too. There is also a fireplace to keep us warm. However, there are very limited lights in the farm and outside the farm. It gets really scary after 6pm. There is also no street lamp. The farmstay is located near Margaret river town where all the restaurants and supermarkets are. So it's pretty convenient. Ultra friendly hosts make our stay an enjoyable one.

Excellent stay
Lisa and Vinnie were wonderful host. Vinnie is extremely passionate about the animals. They ensures all childrens have some interaction time with the aminals. Breakfast such as cereals, milk and orange juice are provided. Not to mention a bottle of red wine too. We had a awesome stay and will definitely return.

Excellent place to expose young city children to farm stay
This is an excellent place to expose young city dwellers to farm stay. The feeding program allows my young boy to be up close and personal with the farm animals which he will never has the chance while living in the city. The staffs are friendly and helpful even before the trip with prompt email response to our queries and requests. Clean place too.
