Can't go wrong - Central, clean and amazing value!

Location, friendly staff and cleanliness - Great value!
We loved our stay at Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay, this place was even better than the reviews. The farm is a short 5 minute drive from town but feels like another world! We stayed in the studio and it was spacious, spotless and well equipped (including a welcome bottle of wine and the most delicious Orange Juice ever!). The Manager Lisa was extremely helpful with accommodating our check-in time, giving great suggestions on where to dine and only ever a phone call or SMS away to help. The animals on the farm were the most loved animals I'd ever seen, they looked in pristine condition and were so happy. The highlight of our stay was seeing them all line up in the morning for a feed. Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay would be perfect for longer term guests due to the location, value and amenities. We are definitely staying here next time we are in the region!

Great Farm!

Great Stay at the farm
The stay was great. We stayed at the studio where the peacocks will sleeps at the tree above our studio. There were chickens welcoming us at the studio as well. All the animals were very friendly. Lovely place to stay. The only issue is a curtain should be provided at the bathroom window for privacy purpose.

Perfect farmstay experience for City dwellers

Staff friendliness, cleaniless, farm activities
Good old Farmstay with modern facilities and lodging. For City dwellers, this is an excellent retreat that keeps you connected (at choice) to the "outside" world still by not being entirely rustic and "off the radar". A very good collection of farm animals, we had different animals visiting us at our doorstep every morning, afternoon and evening as if they were pre-programmed to take turns roaming the entire farm. The farm is well divided into working and resting areas, well spaced and easy to navigate. Vinnie was extremely helpful and friendly - came running in late at night to help us set up the fireplace on the first night when I texted him we were freezing in our cottage. The kids loved it and so did the elders. A very very enjoyable stay and we will surely come back. Short drive to MR town with the excellent Settlers Tarven - great food great beers.

A second home for the city-dewelers

1) Experience 2) Comfort 3) Cleanliness
The place to the animals to its whole entire experience is beyond and above expectations. However, it's only good for animal lovers and if you don't mind quality over quantity, even the night skies is something that one can gwak in awe. In a nutshell, everything was above fantabulous!

Room was too cold

animal feeding, animals roaming freely and the whole farm is big with the cottage widely spaced put to ensure our own privacy.
My son loved the up close encounter with the animals! We had great fun during the feeding session! ROOM was clean & spacious for my family. Too bad it was too cold, esp the bath room, as we were there during the winter. There was only 1 small heater, & we had to move it everywhere we go. The bed room was too small to add in the extra bed, but the living room area was too cold @ night to sleep without the heater.

Awesome Farmstay

Friendly host, friendly animals, clean accommodation!
Vinnie was such an awesome, friendly and helpful host. Our time at the farm was short, but we enjoyed every minute of it. The accommodation has hotel standards and it is so clean and cozy! I only wish that they had more animals on the farm, but there's really nothing much i can complain about. It's really an awesome experience and getaway for city dwellers like us.

thumbs up stay

1) the experience 2) the experience 3)it's all about the experience
It was a great experience for my family especially the kids. Coming from a cosmopolitan city, the kids got close to the animals & nature. Something they won't get to experience back home. The house was lovely & fully equipped to cook meals for the kids. The only setback was the weather was cold when we stayed.
