Budget, near convention center, quiet

Price, Surrounding, Good for exhibition mission
It's very far from the city although there is MRT to town. Good for exhibition at All-Russian Convention Center. and closer to the airport

clean, but so far from airport
it takes for me 4 hours to get to the airport, so big traffic jams there, and far from MRT

everything is fine, except the location

friendly staff, reliable and efficient service
The only bad thing about this hotel is the location: the nearest Metro station is about 15 mins away by taxi (about 600 Rubles per journey). The hotel offers shuttle bus service to the station, but it only runs Mon - Fri, 0730-1830. Miss one bus and you have to wait 1.5 hrs for the next one. Other than that, the hotel offers a very good service for its price: friendly English-speaking staff, well stocked-up breakfest buffet, clean and comfortable rooms, free wifi (with speed sufficient for most). Also, unlike other budget hotels, they register the foreign guests with the local Police free-of-charge, for which you would get a temporary ID document. When being stopped by the Police & demanded for ID document, you could use that instead of your passport. I recommend this hotel, if you have no problem with being far from the local public transport.

Very clean, good breakfast and next to a market

Great professional service
I stayed here for 3 nights and found it very comfortable. TV has plenty of Engligh-speaking stations, bed and bathrooms are very nice and clean, albeit a little small. It is conveniently next to a supermarket with a food court and other services. There is even a currency changing ATM machine which offers pretty competitive rate. And there is a shoe-polishing machine for use for free. Breakfast is simple but plentiful with healthy choices. The location requires a shuttle, which is free during weekdays. If not, you will have to take a trolley bus to the metro station. For the money, it can't be beat.

Nice place but far from the action

Friendly english speaking staff and nice breakfast
the staff was very helpful and spoke english quite well. we also enjoyed the european style breakfast. the room was pretty standard although a dislike showers that just have a curtain, water tends to get everywhere. the biggest downside was its location. it was a 5 minute walk + 15 minute bus ride to the nearest metro station and then another 20 minutes to the heart of downtown moscow. they do offer a shuttle, but it only runs during the week and is every 1.5 hours, which unless you are planning your day around it wasn't very useful.

Great Location

The staff was always willing to help
Having never been to Moscow, the staff continuously assisted me from organizing tours, giving directions to the post office and offering suggestions without being pushy. The rooms are quite basic, the cafe changed the menu each breakfast which was a welcomed treat.
