Owner away, staff will play.
Nine staff members sitting around having a cosmetics party, talking, laughing and ignoring customers. Restaurant service very very slow, even by Philippino standards. A/C unit dripping nearly constantly on wood floors, and looked as if it had been leaking for some time. Two days after reporting problem we were moved to a different room. I imagine if the owner was present it may have been different.

nice property
nice huts, lots of ants though. they tended to just be on the outskirts of the hut and weren't really much of an issue. we wanted to change our future nights from the fan-only hut to the air con hut but the owners wouldn't let us and we ended up having to reserve both huts through agoda. was pretty frustrating. there isnt much of a seabreeze here so avoid the fan hut.

Nice ambience but pale down on comfort
Like the greenery surrounding the area and the wooden hut, but the mattress is thin so not comfortable for me. Overall it is still value for money. The restaurants is just a step away and package tour operator to Kawasan falls and others is just next door.

Overall good experience
The value for the money was good. We stayed in the native house. The house was spacious and we really liked it. The bathroom is pretty simple and the water pressure isnt really high. Still it could have been cleaner in the house as there were dust on some furnitures and places. The master bedroom was fine and we had a good rest there as the A/C was working fine. The food in the restaurant was good and we can recommend to try it. The staff seemed most of the time annoyed and not really interested. I dont know if it has to do with the low season when we were there or what was the exact reason. Usually Im used to more friendly and helpful staff in the Philippines. The beach that is close by isnt good for swimming. We used the location for our trips to the Kawasan Falls and the Osmena Peak.
