Luxurious hotel in peaceful surroundings
This hotel is different to the other high rise hotels in the city. It is set around a peaceful little lake with fountains. The executive cottage style rooms have views of the lake and are very comfortable with large rooms with soft beds and modern bathrooms with a bath as well as a shower. Each room has an outside balcony overlooking the lake. The decor is tasteful but are arranged in an hotch-potch manner with the European, Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Buddhist, Hindu artefacts and paintings all jumbled together rather than arranged in similar groups. There is a jogging track, interesting swimming pool, well-equipped gym, spa, 4 restaurants, tennis courts and entertainment areas for weddings and special events. The in room service is good and tasty. I would have given it a top score except for the following. The A/C are electricity frequently was interrupted due to power cuts and the generator switchover was not seamless resulting in 5-10 minutes of complete darkness at night which is disconcerting if you are on the bathroom at night. There are numerous hotel staff and at times their presence is intrusive and guests feel uncomfortable as if they are being scrutinised. All over the world hotel rooms are generally charged at double occupancy rates but in this hotel it is an extra charge! None the less this hotel is probably the best in Bhubaneswar.

good food and room hotel a byuilding site no pool
food ,staff excellent at restaurants, large room
As above food and restaurant staff excellent. Was made to feel unwelcome at reception the night we arrived, had to really push for king rather than twin bed the second day.The hotel was a major building site with rooms being renovated, noise of drilling and building dust everywhere. The last straw was no swimming pool either as was drained for renovations,no apology at the check in or explanation.Wet paint outside room, with ladder drop clothes immediately as opened door. l Checked out a day early

Nice hotel for sightseeing in Bhubaneswar
Location, design
The hotel serves as a place of gathering for business people (convention center), tourists and local people. They have a great food court with a variety of restaurants ranging from Indian, Italian to Chinese. The place is hugh, with lots of rooms and galeries that display all sorts of statues, craftsmanship and a very nice pool. The hotel is located centrally to go see the 1000 temples in the area of Bhubaneswar and surrounding villages.

Top class stay, great food, fantastic amenities
Calm, luxurious, relaxing
A perfect day of rest and relaxation, fabulous surroundings, helpful staff. The only downside, the cost of wifi is unnecessarily high.

beautiful hotel
comfortable hotel with great tasting food
This hotel was very well laid out and there were lots of little corners and gardens where you could sit and relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food did take a long time to arrive once ordered but worth the wait. The main down side was the mosquitoes and we were there in the winter, I think the lagoon attracts them. However the hotel did regularly go around the hotel spraying repellent. This was only a problem in the bedrooms if you kept the balcony doors open. I would definitely recommend a massage or treatment at the spa. All in all a lovely note.
