Great location and very comfortable

Staff at the hotel were very customer focused
9.7
i will definitely stay at this hotel again. the rooms were very clean and the staff extremely helpful. the only negative was the construction noise bleeding in from the room below and when i complained to the executive club attendant, the response was basically to just put up with it. the front desk personnel were very attentive and the piano player was very good at taking requests.

Good choice

Good location

Hotel has a good location, very close to the Lake and the Old Quarters. Just a short taxi ride of 10 minutes to tourist sites. In general the hotel is good. Excellent for business traveler. The room is spacious, good bed. Lobby Cafe has very friendly staff and the breakfast buffet is reasonably good. Will definitely stay at the hotel again for my next trip to Hanoi.

Excellent hotel - spoilt by internet charges

Fitness centre and rooftop open air swimming pool

In general the hotel is good, but it is spoilt by internet charging. Not only is this nasty stealth tax on the business traveller completely inappropriate, but in addition the charging mechanism is disruptive and an obstacle to internet use. No traveller would accept extra charges for electricity, water, sewage, lift (elevator), heating, air conditioning, linen, cleaning etc so why do a few hotels imagine that it is acceptable to charge for internet use and why do they imagine it acceptable to impede access to the internet with fragile cumbersome logins that have to be negotiated every time a connection is made?
Hotel Feature Tip: Nasty internet policy

Well located luxury hotel

Service was good and the on site Spa was well worth vistiing

I was at the hotel for 3 days during which the staff kindly organized a tour of Hanoi and advised on great local restaurants. Rooms were nice and bed comfortable. Internet connection was however a little slow.

Good hotel, value for money

free internet, free evening coctails and snack, friendly staff
8
stayed at the executive level suit which was spacious and well furnished. free internet and afternoon snacks and drinks were included. with the agoda 15% early purchase discount the price was just few $ more than the executive level deluxe room. late checkout at 4pm was available without additional charge. the (-) was the buffet breakfast which had little choice and same every morning.

Stayed there for a week. Melia is great value for money, offering all the 5 star amenities. It is a very nice hotel, with good location and friendly staff.Gym, day spa, hair salon, restaurants, sauna, great room service menu. The staff were very helpful and professional. Will definitely stay at the hotel again for my next trip. Hotel is very close to the Old Quarters.

TV wasnt working at 100%. Cant understand that its hard to get a signal at a 5 star hotel. You have to pay for mediocre wifi.. Staff is nice and bolognese at restaurant was huge and moderately priced Rooms are very basic for 5 star hotel in Asia

hotel location is very good in the central business district, close to everything. 10 minutes taxi ride to the lake, and the old quarters. there're quite a few good restaurants nearby within walking distance, or across the street to the hotel. hotel room is spacious, clean and well furnished. big screen tv. hotel staffs are nice, friendly, and speak good english.

Huge rooms but hotel's a bit old

Spacious and very friendly staff

Lobby Cafe has very friendly staff and the breakfast buffet is reasonably well stocked. Must pay US$12 for room internet which is a big minus.
