Worst hotel ever
On arrival, reception staff were rude. Room looked nice at first but was directly above a pub. There were earplugs in the room but they didn't do much! No air conditioning and the room was hot and stuffy but you couldn't open the window due to the noise down on the street which kept up until 3-4am of a Monday morning. Asked staff for a fan, when it was bought up it was a small desk fan which was fine but the staff member decided to thrust it at me and say 'too bad this is all I have left'!! Charming. Would not recommend this hotel at all!

Perfect for a short stay in Dublin

Location - Close to all you want to do. Room - Comfortable. Staff - Friendly and helpful
This is a great place to stay. For those of you who are light sleepers the noise outside might be a problem, but for me the compromise was fine - being close to the city centre was great.

Nice stay in Dublin

The best three things were the location of the hotel, in the center of the nightlife area, the friendly staff, cleanliness of the room.
The hotel overall was great and we enjoyed staying there. It is a little difficult to find at first, but the location is fantastic as it is in the heart of the nightlife are. The downside is that is a little noisy when trying to sleep. The hotel staff were also fantastic as they were very helpful and friendly. They gave my wife and I several ideas on where to go in the area and we were not disappointed. I would stay here again.

Terrible!! Will never stay here again!

Central locationStrong shower
Terrible! Wouldn't stay again and will not recommend! Staff were lovely and helpful but hotel itself was terrible! Had to check if room was ready at 2pm, luckily it was Room was tiny with small bed No air con so absolutely stinking hot so were required to open window all night and due to location you may as well have joined the party, there is a reason they leave ear plugs, which don't even drown out the noise!! Room was old and worn out

Uncomfortable & noisy.

Location, breakfast
Room did not have air conditioning and was very uncomfortable at night. It was also extremely noisy with the constant flow of traffic outside not to mention the late night noise from the proximity of the local pubs. The internet was also extremely slow.I would not stay there again.

Centrally Located With No Sound Proofing

Cntrally Located, Cheap and Good Irish Breakfast
The staff were pleasant, the irish breakfast was amazing including hte blackpudding which I have not had before, however the biggest down fall is, there is no airconditioning and it was a few very hot days and the windows are paper thin, so could not open them to get some air in, as it was far too noisey with the pubs across the road and the traffic well into the early hours. Had they had better windows this would not be an issue. I guess they are aware of the issues and supply ear plugs but they didnt help!! The beds were very comfy but felt exhausted when I woke of due to the lack of noice. Its outdated with broken handles on the wardrobes and tile grout that has not be cleaned for ages!!
