With kids

This hotel was very very loud we had a concert right below our window on a Tiesday night until 1am we couldn't sleep and the staff said that's just how this hotel is. Not a good place with kids. The second night it was quieter but still people partying under our window and loud until 1 am. I wouldn't stay here again.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep!

Staff attitude, location.
The room only had a single pane old glass window - which allowed all the noise from the streets outside to come in. This was a Tuesday and the noise went on most of the night - and I was wearing earplugs. There was no temperature control for the room, the TV was pocket sized, and breakfast did not start before 07:30 am!

The Worst sleep

The rooms are old, small and dirty. The pictures look nothing like the room. The bed was super uncomfortable and the worst pillows I have ever slept on. Like an old hard bike seat in a pillow case. The hotel is located in Temple Bar, a location very popular for drinking and partying. We were on the top floor. It was so loud at night that the ear plugs they provide can't cut out the sound of people partying till 5am every night. Worst hotel experience ever.

Worst hotel ever
On arrival, reception staff were rude. Room looked nice at first but was directly above a pub. There were earplugs in the room but they didn't do much! No air conditioning and the room was hot and stuffy but you couldn't open the window due to the noise down on the street which kept up until 3-4am of a Monday morning. Asked staff for a fan, when it was bought up it was a small desk fan which was fine but the staff member decided to thrust it at me and say 'too bad this is all I have left'!! Charming. Would not recommend this hotel at all!

Perfect for a short stay in Dublin

Location - Close to all you want to do. Room - Comfortable. Staff - Friendly and helpful
This is a great place to stay. For those of you who are light sleepers the noise outside might be a problem, but for me the compromise was fine - being close to the city centre was great.

Nice stay in Dublin

The best three things were the location of the hotel, in the center of the nightlife area, the friendly staff, cleanliness of the room.
The hotel overall was great and we enjoyed staying there. It is a little difficult to find at first, but the location is fantastic as it is in the heart of the nightlife are. The downside is that is a little noisy when trying to sleep. The hotel staff were also fantastic as they were very helpful and friendly. They gave my wife and I several ideas on where to go in the area and we were not disappointed. I would stay here again.
