Beautiful hotel but no direct access to beach
The hotel is beautiful especially the pool area, the facilities is good, bike rent, library, internet acess is fast unfortunately the hotel has no direct access to beach (actually they have private beach and shuttle to take you there)

Great stay
Stayed there for 2 nights in the garden view room and really enjoyed my stay there. Really loved the room. value for money. Food from room service/soka restaurant was really good as well.

I travelled with my family on 3 June 2016 and I had really terrible experiences during 3 nights stay... I wonder who manage this lousy hotel!!! 1. At 3.30pm we arrived at the hotel, waited for 45 minutes to get the room key.. Reason: the card key system was error. 2. The room that I got was not the room I booked, instead a pool view room... We got a car-park view... Nasty service! 3. Waited for another 20 minutes to get new card key for our designated room. 4. Breakfast: the only nice food is croissant. The coffee is yak! The fruits were not fresh! Awful taste for the main course! The overall rating for breakfast experience is 1 out of 10. 5. 2nd night: I woke up in the middle of the night just to kill small cockroach that running over the bed. 6. 3rd day (the worst experience): at night time, we just went back after a day activities at the beach, I directly took shower... After finish, I asked my wife hand me a towel, but told me there's no towel in the room. What on earth is going on with this hotel?!! Still in the shower room, waited for almost 30'mins to get the towel delivered!! 7. Another bad experiences with this hotel: no tissue on the washroom after "room make up", error safe deposit box, the A/C system is broken (can't set the temp properly) Guys.. I wrote this based on facts.. Trust me, please avoid this hotel!!! It was a true teribble experience. The management admitted their wrogdoings and apologised already... Well, was it my bad days? I don't think so... It was a Poor Hotel Management that I have ever see in my whole life!

Understaffed and underkept
Check in was a problem, was put in a room supposedly with a pool view but was just a tree. Asked to move front desk were unhelpful and said no. I asked to speak to the manager and he eventually moved us into the correct room type. We booked two rooms, both smelt damp and musty. This was due to poor ventilation from the shower. The wallpaper was pealing off and had stains all over it. The bed runner had stains that i dont want to imagine what they were. The pool was nice and large and from what i could see clean, but the service was more than slow. Ordered 4 waters and waited almost half and hour to recieve them. The pool bar was always closed also. The resurant layout was fine but the service was also slow. The menu was ok but they had hardly any of the food in stock. I had to go thru 5 different choices before they actually had stock. Im the end we left a day early. As someone who worked in the past for Accor i was dissapointed that this hotel was branded mercure and would suggest to accor that they reconsider having this hotel under the mercure name as it is a bad representation of the brand. Would not stay again. There are many otjer simular rated hotels in the area that for exceed this one.

Whole experience was amazing
I couldn't fault anything. The staff were great. The pool, food, gym, room, gardens and facilities were excellent. Nothing was a problem. Such a relaxing time. Great coffee too!

Hotel itself was good, but room smelled very bad
The pool area as well as the fitness room was very nice and attractive. Breakfast very good (the live music a little too loud) and the choice of food also good. The room itself smelled very moldy and humid, its also an older room, no new furniture and facilities.
