Terrible
beach front
The room was shockingly outdated and small, the bathroom is worse than those ones in motels. The shower drain is half blocked. The service is terrible, including the staff at the front desk, restaurant and the room cleaning staff... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone..

Mediocre
Friendly efficient staff
Staff the hotel were exceptional. However rooms are basic and poorly finished. WiFI only available in public areas, if you want internet access in your room there is an extra charge starting at £4 for one hour. Parking charges £18 per day. It would seem that this hotel will do anything to make a few extra pounds which cannot be justified under any circumstances. Would I stay here again? No. I would look for a 4* hotel which caters for basic customer needs without extra charges. Which is what you expect of a 4* hotel

Calm in eye of the storm
Staff, location, size of room
Our request for occupancy of 4 (2+2) had not been received by the hotel but the front desk offered a free upgrade and made up the sofa beds in the room very quickly. Great location, rather old-fashioned and, in the eye of St Jude, the windows rattled constantly. It felt solid though and the additional heater did the trick.
