Good location but needs a Renovation

Staff was polite and helpful, location was good within walking distance to CBD, the room was big
This place definitively needs a renovation. It's walking distance to CBD though, close to Queen Vic markets, tram is right outside the hotel and some nice cafés close by. Would I stay there again? Not sure.

Drab 3 star at best

Location, parking
Desperately in need of its planned renovation. Bathrooms old and basic, corridor smells mouldy. Staff were OK and the parking is right under the hotel and quite cheap ($15/day).

Business Trip

Clean, Restaurant
Stay was ok - staff were not helpful, made mistakes at checkout that cost dearly as I was late for a conference as a result. When requested a refund for a night overbooked, staff referred me to Agoda, when I contacted Agoda, they said they will refer back to the hotel. I never received feedback. When calling to state I left two items in the room, staff were again not helpful at all and questioned me on the fact. I stated I will be over to collect and at arriving past midnight, (more than 12 hours after the request) and the items were in fact there but not taken to reception and had to be collected in the actual room by us. Disappointing.

Rude staff, cleaning is low pillows had bad smell.

Close to hospital where our son was in Intensive care
Staff during the day were beyond rude, the man on night shift very helpful. The pillows smelt like BO and the toilet was dirty.. Also was never told $50 would be deducted from our credit card when we approached the staff they said it was the banks doing. We talked to the bank they said the hotel takes it and until they tell the bank to put it back they don't. This was already a stressful time for us and this hotel made it more stressful. We are very unhappy with our stay..
