nice room

big room, big bathroom, cozy

i was stayed at prada suite. i ask for non smoking room. i got non smoking room at non smoking floor. but fortunately the room is so smell smoke. i was planning to take my children to stay here because over all the room and other facilities are ok. just because of that smoke smell, we're think twice to stay here again. we 're really feel uncomfortable. i hope it will be the hotel's concern too.

Big empty room

Overall the hotel is good, big room and check in/out smooth. Pool is big, But room fasility is pure, as they said as a 5 star hotel...empty freezer, given second slipper after calling 3 times and waut for 1 hour.

Family suite for family

Two 140cm width beds at family suite, location, swimming pool

Staying at Merlynn because the family suite room has two 140cm beds in the room. Always remember to ask room far from generator, because the noise is very disturbing. Breakfast tends to be better at holiday morning or weekend. Swimming pool quite good and large. Bathroom has bathtub, towel rather dirty and shabby. Staffs quite friendly.

Awful service, crockoaches in the room

Awful experience one after another within the 56 hours we stayed at this hotel... It seems impossible believe it or not! Definitely NOT a 5 star hotel! We booked an executive room, then upgrade to Family Suite a few hours later (2 days prior to arrival). When we checked in, we were told that the upgrade was to another executive room. Now, why would we spent extra U$60 to get the same room type?! It took the staff 20 good minutes at 11pm check in time to finally told us that the manager agreed to give up free upgrade to family suite; which we paid for... How is it free?? Just a matter of principle. Breakfast selection was ok but the quality is below average. The chicken was so dry said they've been fried a few times. Ordered a room service for 4 drinks.... Luckily an hour later they were delivered. Absolutely Won't stay in this hotel in future, if you think the price to stay in this hotel is cheap for 5 star hotel.., well, think wisely & spend it at other hotel, you might get a better luck.

Probably the worst hotel experience ever

Checked in to an executive room, it's quite obvious the previous guests smoked in this 'supposedly a non smoking room & floor'. It stink beyond anything. Shower was not working at all, water comes out from the joint between the shower head & arm/pipe. We complained after only staying in this first room for less than 10 minutes. Then they moved us to another room. It was all good until we checked out; then we found out on the invoice that we were charged for U$25 for Mini bar from the first room that we stayed in for 10 minutes!!! We didn't even had time to unpacked or aware if there's a mini bar! The Receptionist was calling here & there but no one seems to know anything. Our 2nd room that we moved into had a fed he that is totally empty & the Housekeeping asked if we want the fridge to be filled in? Same as my brother's room, once he arrived in his room, Housekeeping asked if he wanted the fridge to be filled in. So dodgy that we got charge for mini bar for the room that we stayed in for max 15 minutes. Furniture in the room was very outdated. Carpet looks dirty. We ordered drinks from the room service, it took almost an hour to get them delivered after calling them 3 times. We stayed in quite a few 4 or 5 star hotels all over Asia, including in Jakarta; never had this unprofessional experience. I Guess we won't stay in this hotel anymore.

Unclean, Broken TV, Breakfast for One Person??

We got upgraded because their executive suites are fully booked, which was PRADA SUITE. We had great expectation. The check-in staff was quick. The TV screen was half broken, so we watched our tv cable with half screen working and half BLACK. They gave us internet password, however both of our iPhones logged out themselves every 10 minutes, that was so irritating. We can only have breakfast for one person. One bedroom allowance for breakfast (and an upgraded suite also) only for ONE PERSON. The room service was extremely expensive, quality of food was not up to five-star hotel standard. The pillow is extremely uncomfortable for a suite and also unclean. Broken shower, hot water was extremely hot. Never going back.
