Cosy and welcoming
A delightfully furnished and very comfortable hotel just a short bus ride away from the city centre. The staff are friendly and welcoming and offer a complimentary tea or coffee in the lounge on arrival. The lounge is a good place to relax at the end of the day, with books, magazines available and an open fire in the evening. Very cosy! The room was spacious and comfortable with all necessary amenities.
There is not a great deal to see and/or do around the hotel, though there are a few pubs and restaurants. Most of the sights are in the city centre which is not within walking distance.
The Merrion Hall is a home away from home. A delightful boutique hotel, the hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished and the lounge is a great place to relax at the end of the day, especially when the open fire is burning cosily. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Although there are not many things to do around the hotel (there are a few pubs and restaurants), the hotel is only a short bus ride away from the city centre. I will definitely use the hotel again in the future.
