These self-catering suites offer quiet modern living just outside Manama�s CBD and entertainment zone. Located in Mahooz, a short drive across the bridge from Sitra�s industrial area, the Elite 4 Hotel provides comfortable, well-equipped hotel suites. This particular Elite property provides one- and two-bedroom apartments with full kitchen (with gas cooker), spacious living areas, home theater and drinking water, plus an onsite fitness room, indoor pool and laundry facilities. It�s a quick drive from here to the malls and restaurants of the Juffair area, the Al Jazira supermarket is a kilometer away and for football fans, the Al Ahli Stadium is five minutes away. The hotel�s proximity to main roadways makes it easy to explore the whole island and as a bonus, it�s only ten kilometers to the airport.

This hotel/Apartment is easy to find. Bahrain is well know for its night-life and working ladies. On a family visit with young children one doesn't need to exprience noisy vice behaviour. This hotel was certainly quiet and just right for a family. The hotel was well presented with each apartment having its own kitchen with plates and utensils. The swimming pool and gym were an added bonus. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I filled in a suggestion slip as I left to help the hotel make my next stay even more pleasant - YES I will be going back! My main concern was the lack of cold water which is a problem in all the budget hotels I have stayed at. This however should not have fallen in that catogery simply because it was a 4star hotel. I therefore would have expected to have plenty of cold water for the whole family to have a good shower. This was not the case. Another problem was the AC. It just didnt cool the apartment down suffiently to make staying in the room comfortable. In fact we often went for a walk in the hotel to cool down. All this was told to the receptionist as we left who said she would look into it. There is no where in the hotel where you can purchase food. The hotel staff will gladly go out and get food from a local take out.

A pleasant hotel and perfect for the Family. Away from the seedy night life and roady lager loats who come across the boarder from Saudi for a weekend of booze and sex. The hotel amenities are excellent for the price but there are a few draw backs worth mentioning. The shower would quickly run too hot so impossible to stay under and the AC was not powerful enough in the rooms. Well worth a stay. My family and I will be going back soon.

Shopping Tip : We really enjoyed the visit to Al Seef Mall for shopping and the cinema.
