The hotel is situated in the old part of town. This has a lot more charecter than the modern type of buildings

It is quite a ling way from the airport

This was my first visit to bahrain. The journey from the airport to the hotel was an enlightening trip, from the new part of bahrain to the old part of town. On entering the street whervthe hotel is located it is evident that the hotel is an older clasical type of building. On entering the hotel reception, you are greeted by very friendly and efficient reception staff, who provide an excellent checking in service. Service with a smile should be the hotel slogan, as I was certainly greeted with a smile. The Hotel room was spacious, with a rich but homely appearance. All service found in a modern hotel room were provided in this quaint hotel. I will be returning to this hotel on my return to bahrain

Shopping Tip : In the vacinity of the hotel is Seef Shopping Mal. A must for shoppers and sightseers alike

I spent two very pleasant nights at the Delmon and shall certainly go back again. It has all the features a traveller wants in a hotel - courteous, efficient and helpful staff, comfort, peace and quiet, good location - without being excessively expensive. It is well supplied with restaurants and bars to suit different tastes and has a pleasant swimming pool and health club.
