Short but pleasant stay
Location, large room, good price for this city
7.3
Everything was fine, normal check in without issues. Parking is limited in this area and hotel does not have a parking garage underground.

Value for money hotel in great location.
Great location with good bar and restaurants
7.3
Really surprised just how good this hotel was compared with others in the area at a much higher cost. You need to get room at the back of the hotel as this is much quieter and you are not disturbed by the main road.
Staff were friendly and willing to help. Diggers is not the kind of bar that you would want to take your wife too!

Nice hotel and staff, but BIG PROBLEM AT CHECKOUT
Quaint rooms, good location, friendly staff
4.7
The Delmon Int. Hotel was decent. I arrived at midnight. My room didn't have internet as advertised, so they courteously moved me to another room that was supposed to have internet, but also didn't. The hotel helper admitted that there really wasn't internet except in/near the hotel lobby on the ground floor. My second room was extremely loud due to an obnoxious band playing directly below me, so I asked to be moved to a quiet room. I had to call the front desk three times before they finally realized that they needed to respond to my request. I was moved to a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet. (The only quiet rooms in the hotel are at the back because the incredibly loud obnoxious music / noise continues until 2 a.m. every night.) After this my stay was pleasant. Parking is extremely difficult in the area around the hotel, but they provide a few spaces in front of the hotel. The BIG PROBLEM, WHICH IS A SHOWSTOPPER, CAME AT CHECKOUT. THE FRONT DESK CLAIMED IT HAD NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT FROM AGODA FOR MY TWO NIGHT STAY. I HAD ALREADY CONFIRMED THAT MY CHECKING ACCOUNT SHOWED MY COMPLETED PAYMENT TO AGODA FOR MY STAY AT THE DELMON, BUT THEY INSISTED I PAY AGAIN, WHICH I REFUSED TO DO. I OPENED MY LAPTOP AND SHOWED THEM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT PAGE WHICH SHOWED MY COMPLETED PAYMENT TO AGODA, BUT THEY REFUSED TO LISTEN. FINALLY THEY BROUGHT IN A BIG LOUT, APPARENTLY THE TOP MANAGER, WHO WOULDN'T LET ME SPEAK. I WALKED OUT, AND HE FOLLOWED ME AND THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE UNLESS I PAID AGAIN. I DROVE OFF. APPARENTLY THIS IS A SCAM THAT HAPPENS IN MANAMA, AS I NOTICED IN THE REVIEW OF ANOTHER MANAMA HOTEL THAT THEY PULLED THE SAME THING. IT APPEARS THAT THESE HOTELS USE AGODA TO GET CUSTOMERS, BUT THEN AT CHECKOUT CLAIM THAT THEY HAVEN'T RECEIVED PAYMENT FROM AGODA AND INSIST YOU PAY AGAIN, AND THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY THEN TO GET THE MONEY BACK FROM AGODA. ABSURD. IT IS THEIR JOB TO GET THEIR MONEY FROM AGODA, NOT THE CUSTOMER'S TO GET THEIR MONEY BACK.
Hotel Feature Tip:
AVOID THIS HOTEL UNTIL THEY FIX THEIR DOUBLE-CHARGING PRACTICE

Good location for nightlife

This is an older hotel with poorly lit rooms in need of renovation. The hotel is located downtown, just across from the Gold Souk. The front desk staff was great, and very responsive to anything that I needed.
The only real reason to stay at this hotel is that the hotel has several different bars that cater to different nationalities and music styles. My favorite is Diggers. A lot of Asians in the crowd, and the Filipino Band is as goos as you will find anywhere. If you like good music, and you are not put off by a crowd of working girls, then you can enjoy your time at Diggers.

Friendly Hotel with a great Smile
Location, Night Life, Breakfast
9.3
I read so many articles about this hotel (Good & Bad) before I make my reservation. My Main concern about the noise that everyone had complained in those feedbacks I read, but I never encounter any issue (I was on the 1st floor).
Starting from Check-in to check-out, I had a great stay with the most friendly staff members in the hotel. Even the F&B Manager of the Hotel was so courteous enough to talk to their guests through his busy schedule.
Complimentary Breakfast Buffet was so great as it was included a huge verity of food, Arabic, English and Asian cuisine.
Night life is truly great in the Hotel as It has so many Pubs and Night Clubs within the premises. Russian Night Club “The Fire” is one of the hottest and best to hangout. And also I would rate “Diggers” Aussie Night club as it’s a great place to meet new friends.
For solo Travellers, I would suggest that you straightaway book a double room (if you’re planning to have a good time) even if you’re travelling alone, as it will save you BHD 10 if you decide to have a private time with your new friends.
I only did not like the Health Club as it was too small, too run down and that place dos not suite even for a store room. I hope Hotel management will realize the importance of having a proper Health Club with real health Club facilities as it would naturally attract the guests and will also increase the number of repeated guests.
Other than that it was a nice Hotel with friendly staff and even the hotel location is quite suitable for those who love shopping. Gold City is right in front of the Hotel and all other Shopping and dining places are just 1-2 minutes away. Taxi’s are readily available in front of the hotel.
