Location is (together with several other hotels in the street) good. With souk, ATM, restaurants, and bars a minute walking distance. Although hotel offers 18+ inhouse hotel services for men, this was not too obvious. (Will depend on your neighbours though. The room appointed to me was clean and large and had a very large bathroom as well.
Service with a smile was definately missing with most staff. I have had a lot more welcoming service than at this hotel.
Deposit box was not in order and was disturbed several time by staff coming to fix it. Jacuzzi bath not working either, though I prefer shower anyway. Keycard was twice deactivated during 5 day stay. Bars were not really attractive for a western crowd I would say.
Compared to other countries/cities the hotel was pretty good value for money. I had lower expectations of the room. I did not eat in any of the hotel's restaurants, so can' comment on those.

it is located in the center of Manama
In general, all the staff of the hotel are not friendly at all. They don't smile and they don't greet. The rooms are old and not so clean. I will never stay again this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : There is a Daily Queen within a walking distance to offer breakfast menu (other fast food restaurant are closed in the morning or they don't have any breakfast menu).
