My stay was spectacular specially the hotel was far away from the city, the spa was more than expected. the hotel is really five star hotel with good design. Good view of the sea.

What a fiasco!
One of the better looking hotels in the GCC

The hotel is a resort hotel some way away from the business centre. Allow at least 30 minutes to get into town and 15 to get a taxi (I ordered one but it didnt show up). I was pretty excited to stay at the hotel but arrived late and decided to eat in the room. I ordered a veg sandwich and a glass of wine and by 11.10 it had not arrived despite a call to room service too chase it. I called the front desk who said they would find out what was going on but 20 mins later no one had bothered calling back. When I finally got through to the duty manager he was on the phone at 12.30 ordering the food. In the end, I went to bed frustrated that after a long a busy day I hadnt eaten. The food arrived at 1 am with a free bottle of wine and some chocolates but frankly I was too tired to enjoy. The sanwich was literally a dinner roll with some small shreds of carrot and asparagus in them - quite bizarre. I have stayed at Accor Hotels many times and usually enjoy the excellent reputation and service. This was a deep disappointment and considering the hotel appeared empty came as a considerable surprise. I received a free breakfast and apology. I only hope they will sort out this glitch and the hotel will fulfill the potential it deserves.
