Clean well run Hotel. Central location, near Dead Sea. In house restaurant is expensive. Arad is a little dull. We liked the hotel and the location near the Dead Sea is good. If you want to stay on the Dead Sea you'll pay a lot more, this is much better value. Arad itself isn't much to see. Go to the Bedouin Market on Mondays, and the views are good from high points (like the 6th floor of the hotel).
The Hotel restaurant is overpriced but the food is solid. The internet doesn't work well in the rooms, but hanging out in the second floor lobby, where the wifi works well, is nice and good people watching. When we were there there was a large group of Nigerian Christian missionaries, that was great!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bedouin market on Mondays.

Basic needs are taken care of. Air conditioning, buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner, clean rooms. The facilities are spartan. While this is not a luxury hotel by any means, it is a good standard hotel that fits its out of the way location. This is the perfect spring board to visit many of the fascinating sites of the Northern Negev: Tel Arad, Tel Mamshit, Masada. Preferable to the more than disappointing "luxury" hotels in Ein Boqeq.

Good location, very easy to find The pillows and duvet smoking dirty. A cozy hotel in the provincial town of Arad, where many of the Jewish Russians settled down. The hotel was moderately clean and simple. The beds were too moderate. Ontbijd It was remarkably good. The service at the hotel was very good. Some 20 minutes drive from the Dead Sea is a good option for people who appreciate simplicity and peace and quiet draw, and do not like the crowded expensive hotles at the Dead Sea.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Trek through the beautiful Negev desert.
