Relaxing and enjoyable

My sister and I went to Eilat for a relaxing weekend away from Tel Aviv (where we are spending the year). This hotel was perfect for this purpose. We laid by the pool all day and took the 10 min walk into the center of the city at night for restaurants and bars. We also had massages at the spa which were reasonably priced and of a high quality. The breakfast buffet was so overwhelming that we were stuffed until dinner. Also only about a 10 min cab ride to some of the best snorkeling and surfing in Eilat. My only complaint was the service at the Machiatto (sp?) bar and restaurant was poor. That being said, the entire remainder of the staff (front desk, pool staff, etc.) were so friendly that it more than made up for this one negative.
Restaurant Tip:
La cucina on the royal beach promenade is the best restaurant I've been to in Israel. They actually understood and practiced customer service which I have been missing since my stay here.

Fun and relaxing for couples and families

Agamim hotel is not far from the main shopping and travelling area of Eilat, which is nice. If you want to get to the beach it's only a few minutes walk, or a taxi ride (less than 10 minutes) to the southern shore, which is nicer.
The hotel is equipped with everything you need, and has an amazing swimming pool, plus "rooms on the water", for anyone who wants to be close to it and still enjoy a bit of privacy.
The only downside of the hotel are the rooms - even though they're nice, they are not modern in their design, and the carpet is old.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The corals beach, known in hebrew as "Chof Almog" is lovely - it's located on the southern shore. You can rent snorkeling equipment there and explore the beautiful underwater life of the Red Sea.
