The location is very good. A 10 minutes walk to the Old City.
No restaurant in the hotel.
I had an overall good experience. The staff is very helpful in giving directions and advice on various questions (from ATM locations to tour guides). The rooms are not very big but they are comfortable. The hotel does not have a restaurant so you will have to find one in the city. The bathroom could use some upgrades but it is overall ok.
Travel tip : The hotel across the street is the American Colony Hotel which has a good restaurant.

the staff of the hotel was very helpfull, the deluxe rooms were quite big and the bathroom and bed was very clean. Perfect location really close to Damascus Gate of the old City. Airconditioning was good.
needs to be refurbished. Old furniture and equipment. Poor breakfast. The curtains and other furnitures in the hotel needs to be cleaned properly.
We stayed 3 nights in Addar Hotel. The manager was really helpfull. The taxi drivers look they do not know where is the hotel but if you tell them just opposite the American Colony they understand the location immediately. It is relax and good quality for its price. Best thing about the hotel is the location. Have many other good hotels around it and it is very close to old city. Lovely view on the top floor.
Restaurant Tip : the hotel is on Nablus Road. One street down the hotel you can find 4 really good arabic restaurant.

Pleasant and accommodating staff, easy and good breakfast, possibility to book tours through the hotel, clean and fresh.

Addar hotel has a fairly good location about 10-15 minutes from the Old Town of Jerusalem. The rooms are spacious and keeping them clean when the mkt are cleaned every day, but the beds are not of NGN higher standard. Mkt staff is pleasant and accommodating and eager to be comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good and good. If you want to do tours in Jerusalem / Israel helps hotel and even with it.
