Adequate hotel in Jerusalem
Price not as outrageous as other hotels; location close to Bus Station and a couple of direct buses to Old City; friendly front desk

We were a family of 5 that took two connected rooms. Rooms were smallish, esp with third bed. But clean, and bath was clean. Direct bus (#1 or 6) to Old City made it inexpensive to get around. Eating options exist around hotel. Breakfast in hotel was disappointing. Front desk helpful. But they charge $10 per day for internet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go on the "old City " tour with Stoneman, which costs 70NIS pp. Reasonable oriental food options next to hotel, near bus stop.
