large hotel more suited for tour groups. hotel was virtually empty at time of stay so not much atmosphere. room quite small, in need of refurbishment but all the basics there and acceptable. the advantage the hotel had is the panoramic views of the old city, golden gates and dome of the rock. breakfast room also has this panoramic view.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
situated on mount of olives, 5 minute walk to church of all nations and garden of gethesamane. 10-15 minute walk to lions gate for the old city and 15 minute walk uphill to church of the paternoster.

Great location but noisy outside and inside

Hotel was fine. A bit outdated but friendly staff. The guests could have been better because they made a lot of noise in the middle of the night (hotel staaf could take better care of this but it seems they don't dare to adress a group of noisy tourists). There is also a mosque outside but that was only the first night something we really noticed. Second nigh we already got used to it. Breakfast was OK. Evening buffet wasn't but since there is little at walking distance...... A outside falafel place was very nice for the second night. The hotel isn't very clean but it is reasonably priced.
