love the King David

we selected the king david for its history and reviews by other travelers. we were not disappointed. it exceeded our expectations. the warm atmosphere created by staff makes your visit more like a stay at an old fashioned resort than a city hotel. clearly the staff takes pride in being a part of such an important facility in jerusalem. the room was comfortable, had a flat screen tv, sufficient closet space, and windows that could be opened to enjoy fresh air. the bathroom had a generously sized tub and separate shower stall. the water was soft and the pressure terrific. breakfast, which is included, is a wonderful buffet of fresh fruits and salads with cheeses, yogurt and baked goods. though we didn't swim, we enjoyed reading poolside. all in all we felt staying at the king david made our stay in jerusalem very special.
Shopping Tip:
The Mamilla Mall is a short walk from the hotel. It has cafes, lots of nice shops and is a good pedestrian access to the Jaffa Gate.

最高級ホテルの事だけはあり、素晴らしいホテルでした
スタッフが大変親切で、お部屋も豪華で大変きれい。朝食もおいしかった！

唯一、ホテルがアレンジするタクシードライバーのマナーが悪かった。メーターを使わない、違法な料金を要望、うっとうしい程誘ってくるなど、もう少しきちんとした教育をすべき。
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
旧市街までは徒歩で行けるし、買い物に行くにも便利。しかも安全な地域。
