Right near Ben Yehuda with plenty of shopping opportunities in the area, this is an immaculate, elegantly appointed hotel. Take advantage of a nice big breakfast and head out for the day. The hotel is within a manageable distance to the old city and boasts excellent location for those who want to explore the vibrant day and nightlife and a number of great restaurants. The staff are helpful here and will help you book excursions. Take a day trip to Table Mountain, the hills of Judea, and the Dead Sea. Clean rooms with nice televisions, big windows, and large beds come together with excellent location and reasonable rates at Montefiore.

Nice hotel but over booked

we arrived at 3 pm expecting to check in as per our reservation. we were told that we could not check in til 6 pm so we left our tel. no. for them to call us in case the room would be ready earlier, never head from them so we returned at 5 pm to be told that the room would be ready at 8 pm. i requested another room only to be told that they were all booked out but had another similar hotel, the jerusalem inn where they could accommodate us in a better room, we accepted. the send us there by taxi and provided us with a voucher for a dinner at a local restaurant as compensation. at 10 pm some one called from the montefiore hotel to tell us that the room would soon be ready, i laughed !

Finally finding the Hotel

Very hard to locate, not really near to Luton and old and worno out. The resturant was really lousy food and all the staff appeared to wish they were somewhere else. We were very disappointed.
Travel tip:
Don't eat here, oreder take away.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel is in an excellent location.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It's a short walk to the shops and cafes in Ben Yehuda street and also a short walk to Independence Park which creates a nice balance. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
