Classic Bauhaus architecture and an obsession with the silver screen make this centrally-positioned hotel a favorite with travelers. Just off Dizengoff Square, the Cinema Hotel offers a range of freebies and special treats that make it one of the citys most popular hotels. Location is unbeatable for experiencing Tel Avivs restaurant and caf culture while the beach is a 15-minute walk away at most. Dcor reflects the hotels previous incarnation as a cinema; rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, some with balconies that overlook Dizengoff Square. The wonderful location was the best feature. One walks out onto Dizengoff St. and is in the heart of town with interesting restaurants and stores and events all around. We also liked the fourth floor private lobby with refreshments and a sun roof. The service was quite good for the most part.
The rooms were small for stays longer than a night or two. Not much room to spread out. Would have also like a better view. The parking was limited which made it hard for anyone unable to walk a block or two easily.
The parking was the difficult thing for me since I am not too mobile. The hotel was relatively flexible about this and we did get to park there each night. We found the desk personnel quite helpful and friendly for the most part. The environment was interesting and the location excellent. The nearby restaurants offer good choices within walking distance. That was an excellent feature.
Restaurant Tip : Excellent Indian restaurant right across from hotel.

Central location, lovely roof terrace, free nibbles in the evening.
Some rooms are small, WiFi not 100% reliable.
This hotel is very well located in the heart of Tel Aviv's main shopping area and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. Just to prove how central the location was, from the bed it was possible to see the Dizengoff fountain.
The roof terrace was great with nice sun loungers, tables and chairs. The free drinks and nibbles in the evening was a lovely touch, though fresh coffee would have been a nice addition.
Breakfast was fine with a good spread of food for a hotel of this quality, though the room could be quite busy. I got some clothes laundered at prices much lower than a similar hotel in Europe.
Our only quibble was the free WiFi didn't work in our room on the 3rd floor though it was fine on the other floors. The staff didn't seem all that concerned about fixing it but apart from that were helpful and friendly.
I would happily recommend this hotel a base to explore this vibrant city.

Bauhaus architecture. Centralised location. Friendly and attentive service
Plain rooms. Average breakfast
This is a perfectly functional hotel that provides a clean and comfortable environment to rest in. The rooms are distinctly average, lacking modern gadgets and design, however they provide clean bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast provided a decent spread of food from cereals and bread, to egg, to fish and cheese. I would like it if there was a selection of meat, but there is most likely an obvious reason for the lack of this. However, personally, I found the quality was not particularly high but regardless I did not go hungry!
Where this hotel shines was in the service from the Front Desk. They did everything they could to make us feel at home and help us with our queries and requests. Some of the most pleasant hotel staff I have ever come across. Furthermore, the access to free bikes made it a pleasure to ride out from the central location to the beach and down and around Jaffa/Tel Aviv. The location of the hotel makes it a doddle to get to the beach and various other parts of the city.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely! great value for money
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take advantage of the free bikes at the hotel and explore the beachfront promenade between Tel Aviv Port and Jaffa.
