Recently renovated, well situated in North Tel Aviv, close to restaurants and boutiques. Friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous roof terrace overlooking Mediterranean with view of city skyline
Rooms are small but the light, modern decor and the terrific lounge and roof terrace offset this.
The Melody Hotel is well situated in North Tel Aviv across the road from the Mediterranean and the Tayelet (promenade that runs from Jaffa to the Port of Tel Aviv. It is a short walk to the restaurants and boutiques of Dizengoff and 5 minutes walk to the redeveloped Port. The staff of the hotel are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is recently renovated. The rooms are small but the design and decor largely offset this. I stayed twice at the hotel twice during a recent visit. On the first occasion the room and ensuite were very compact but the view of the Med coupled with the contemporary decor compensated for this. On my second stay the room was slightly larger but there was no view! The roof terrace with its capacious lounges and views of both the Med and the city skyline is a real attraction of this hotel as is the lobby and breakdfast room. Wireless internet is available throughout the hotel at no charge and the Israeli breakfast is a delight. Sunday to Friday there are also complementary refreshments from 5-8pm.
