Large rooms and good value for money

The room was enormous although furnished with very basic although comfortable furnishings.
The breakfast rivaled that of many five-star hotels, with the usual Israeli breakfast fare as well as pancakes and eggs made to order.
The manager and staff were exceedingly helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
The location is best suited to those with a car as it is around 10 minutes drive to the center of town.

Everything is Okay.
Quite but, little bit far from Galilee

I wanted to travel Nazareth and Zefat. That's why I don't care where the hotel is in Tiberias. It's easy to find but, if your travel is focusing on the Galilee, you need to take a bus or rent a car. It's far from hotel to it on foot.
Price is very reasonable, Breakfast is okay, but, room is not very clean, some dust, and old...

Nice place in Tiberias

Stayed here for 1 night. Hotel is close to the city and it has a private carpark lot. Breakfast is ok, staff is very helpful especially when I need to exchange foreign currency.

Service with a smile and warm hospitality

the owner was very kind and helpful during my stay and helped my plan the rest of my trip which worked out out really well. end up staying an extra day here.
the hotel is clean, but has seen better days and could with a bit of a revamp - but very functional otherwise. i had a lovely view of the town and the sea from my balcony..so do try and ask for a room with a balcony. rooms have a kitchenette, sometimes with a kettle but not much else e.g utensils or tea/coffee.
wifi was availble in the rooms but the signal was weak.
there was a hearty spread at breakfast - israeli style. very nice!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tiberias is good hopping point for the north. I rented a car and managed to drive up the Syrian border by Metula or even near Mt. Harmon very comfortably within an hour, so can easily do this and stop at the various attractions along the way. I also visited the Hula Valley but unfortunately did not see as many bird as I hoped - probably wrong timing.
The next day I drove around the Sea of Galilee and to the main attractions around here (all doable within a morning) and then set off for Elait. Beautiful drive...lots of changing topographies and driving past the dead sea was awesome.

Warm encounter with the Jewish Host
The breakfast was rich in food ! Especially compare to hotel of similar economic price. Waiters were serving you with heart ! Just great !

we,hong kong people, absolutely felt like home on the 1st day of arrival. the lady receptionist was very helpful in answering all our questions on transportation, eating-out and entertainment. free wi-fi available ! in our stay, we also met the manager and his father. they are jewish gentleman, very nice and warm. the manager taught us personally how to walk down to tiberias town from the hotel through counting the traffic lamps. then we discovered the traffic lamps are numbered in tiberias. so the hotel, though on hill slope, is in fact more convenient than we thought. the manager also helped to promote the lazer show by sea-side at 8:00pm. we could sense his spirit devoted to tiberias. definitely a memorable experience in staying in such a decently run hotel by a jewish family. may the lord bless this family. we will surely be back, bringing more friends.

the berger hotel have a good location near the city of tiberiades, good to visit all the sites of the sea of galilei.
the hotel have included the brekfast and have free internet near the reception.the owners are friendly.the vews of balcony to the sea of galilei are beautiful!

Le Berger-hotel est un tres tres bon hotel. L'acceuil n'y est pas un vain mot....!
Le patron souriant est omnipresent pour palier a toutes nos demandes.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et la douche est vraiment agreable.
Demandez neamoins a avoir une chambre donnant sur les arrieres a cause du bruit de la route.
Les petits-dejeuners sont tres convenable et cet etablissement est tres propre.
Parking prive gratuit.
Je recommande cet hotel d'un tres bon rapport qualite/prix
