The hotel was a good choice for our 2 nights stay at the Dead Sea on our way to Petra. The spa offered a good spread of treatments at reasonable prices. Restaurant choice was limited with rather bland menus. Otherwise good value for money.

I was delayed out of Afghanistan and could not make my scheduled date. When I notified Agoda they would not support the change without a "letter from the airline" I tried to explain that I work in a WarZone and such letter is available.
In the end I paid for the room twice, the hotel was not to fault and they were great. I will not use Agoda or a Priceline.com company again.

Btw 90% of smokers won't get lung cancer and of those that do, 90% attain 40 pack years, i.e. pack a day for 40 years. Slack, heavy eaters have a much better chance of dying from their sloth, while casual smokers can enjoy their toke with little concern. Australians have become the most neurotic race on earth.
Moving along from a little education, throughly enjoyed Jordan, even in cold January. Wonderful people and interesting history.
The people at Holiday Inn were no exception, were very obliging as well as caring.
Wifi coverage speed excellent

I chose a King Bed but we actually got 2 single beds. The staff were very nice, the hotel is very easy to find.
We ate in the hotel where there were a lot of cats around. This turned me off my dinner

There's one heated pool and two other pools...make sure to jump into the heated pool!

Very nice hotel with full resort 5 star facilities, have its own private beach to the Dead Sea. However, there were some maintenance going on so only a small portion of the beach is open.
Had dinner in one of their many restaurant serving International Buffet and it was very nice and price was reasonable for a 5 star hotel.
Nothing to expect from the surrounding as there is not much to see and go in the area so we stayed in the Resort the whole time.
