Quiet Rooms
Rooms - Small & somewhat older
Beds - not as comfortable as it should be. I have stayed @ Alexandre before since I consider the place a good value. Its location, free parking and quiet rooms were more than adequate. Ashrafieh is also very central & close to downtown, shops and restaurants and not as congested as Hamra. The rooms were small and somewhat old but quiet & clean and that's what it was important to me. Again this is not a per say 4 star hotel (compare to U.S. hotels) but it was adequate and a good value.
Restaurant Tip : Hotel is very close to two very good restaurant with one of them serving the best Kababs I ever had in Lebanon as well as two good pastry shops. I highly recommend these places which happen to be next to each other.

Location, relaxing atmosphere Very old design, mould smell because of old carpeting. As a first time traveler to Beirut, only staying for one night/day for a business meeting, I found the hotel to be of a descent standard. Low priced accommodation, but very comfortable and in generally, worth the money I paid for. On my next visit to Beirut, this hotel will be my 1st choice once more.

Modern & big reception lobby.
Friendly staff.
Nice area of the city close to restaurants.
Temporary parking spaces.
Quiet & peaceful.
Price was descent. Old style & relatively Small rooms.
Not much view from the rooms but that's no big deal.
Overall I recommend this hotel given that the staff were friendly, breakfast was descent, and the room was quiet. My only reservation was that room was kind of old and small but that was no big deal.
Restaurant Tip : Close to the hotel(within walking distance),there's a very good restaurant famous for its Kabobs.
