We were really amazed by the warm welcome we received. Due to a delay in our check in as the Reception staff were very busy, they gave us a junior suite which was quite a surprise to us. The room was excellent and the facilities were beyond our expectations. The staff were very helpful. The cafe was awesome and even the room service was quick and good value for money.

This hotel is situated nearby the Doha airport (taxi: 35 QR = 7 €). Important, do not take the wrong hotel "Al Seef Hotel", but the "Doha Seef Hotel"! You will find a 11 floor hotel with a swimming pool (7x5 m about) on top. You get pool towels gratis. It is a big house with international guests, also many Europeans. The staff on the reception is working professionally and effectively - they try to give the way to all wishes you might have. Rooms are cleaned and with big TV, refrigerator and coffee-maker (for hot water). Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is great
and all armatures are in best function. The balance of price and the room is fully ok.
Very good room, friendly staff, good management. Temperated pool on the roof, good equipment of the rooms, best silent air conditioned everywhere, quiet rooms. Small restaurants/ take-away nearby with very low prices!

- Restaurant Tip : Many nice friendly arabic family restaurants (also for women and couples!) are nearby, to walk max. 20 minutes. Low cost meals, delicious and quickly made, original from the arabic cuisine!

Doha Seef Hotel is a hotel I recommend to everyone who would like to stay when they are in a stopover. However shopping are little bit far from the hotel when you need to buy some groceries. Taxis are not too dear if you use the blue one instead of a limousine.

The Doha Seef has the feel of a hotel that was designed in a hurry, built in a hurry, and staffed in a hurry. It has the outward appearance of a top quality hotel, but closer inspection reveals some problems. I would stay here again if I got a really good deal on a room, and if I had an alarm clock with me. But if another hotel was available at the same price, I would take it.
