Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. The hotel was nice and clean. It was located a good distance away from the airport.

Not the best view

I would definatly recommend for vistors of Doha to go and stay in this hotel because for the cost you are paying you are getting a great deal for what you are getting. The hotel staff were nice and helpful and the room was very clean. There are two televisions in the room, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

Nice pool on rooftop

Country is very hot, pool water is the same hot

The hotel is not far from the Corniche, the boulevard. It is not far from the famous souk where you can find tourist shops and also some nice restaurants. There is also a gold souk not so far from the hotel. The pool and fitness are nice.

near souk, nice pool

TV does not work well

The hotel is located within walking distance of the most famous souq where you can find lots of nice shops but also plenty of restaurants to eat at night. The hotel has an excellent sports club and also a roof top swimmingpool which is nice with the hot temperatures.

Room is very well equipped and roomy

Location is a bit far away from main activities. You need a car.

We stayed here on our way back from Turkey to South Africa. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, however it is away from the main commercial centre and you need a car to get to all the relevant sight-seeing and main shopping areas. The room was very roomy and well equipped and the service was excellent. Next time I will stay closer to the main commercial area.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get a rental car, the taxis are not freely available during the day.

Room was clean and facilities in the room were nice.

The room was nice, but one exception. Table in the room was dirty with some dirty markings and scratches. I felt not very clearn.

The hotel charge was without breakfast. For business use, normally the company, probably most of the company will compensate all the charges including breakfast. This time, the breakfast was not inclusive, so I had to bear the breakfast by my self. Please do include the breakfast charge, even the total fee is raised.

None

Honestly - after living in Nepal for 15 months this was luxury. I saw one comments from someone complaining that the toilet was too small! Well having toilet that you could sit on was a big bonus and the fact that is was spotlessly clean was in sharp contrast to Nepal!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not miss the Museum of Islamic Art down on the Corniche - very impressive.

It was near the airport. Hotel was neat and new. Staff are very friendly and gives good service. Room were very nice and comfortable.

Taxi has to be called by phone. Doha lacks tourist attractions, however it is a fast growing metropolis.

I stayed Doha Seef for two days as a stopover. The hotel was very new and nice. Its room were big and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and gives fast service. The hotel is very closed to the Airport and traveling by taxi is cheap, although you have to call them by phone thru the Hotel. Doha has many new malls, although tourism is still developing. Overall I enjoyed my stay and recommend the hotel. By the way, if you need a visa to go to Qatar, Doha Seef has the facility to request for your entry visa if you book with them for a fee of course. Just email them.

Shopping Tip : Villagio is the newest shopping ce nter there with venice boat ride theme.

Great location Great staff

Should arrange free pickup and drop off at the airport...

Overall it was a very pleasant experience, the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is great, next to the corniche and the Islamic museum and less than 10 minutes from the Citycenter shopping mall.

Travel tip : The "private" taxi drivers that the taxi arranges are fairly cheap and reliable...

Good bathroom., very confortable bed.

No sauna

The hotel is well located near the zuk or old market, which is a fantastic place to visit and spend some time. You will get the atmosphere of Doha, its culture and history. Also, the hotel has a nice gymnasium and swimming pool -which closes at 6PM-. The service was good and everybody very cordial and helpful. Besides, it was a good price for a 4 star hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The old market just 15 min. away, walking distance!

We received a one room suite (I think we were upgraded), and when we asked for a baby cot, they sent us one to the room. We were also allowed late check out. Clean with nessesary facilities.

When we first got our room, there was a lamp that was not working (1 out of only 2 in the room), they said they would fix it, but never did.

I went there with my wife and son. The staff were friendly, but we had to ask twice for service. They had a nice gym, but the pool on the roof was quite small. Overall it was clean, and fairly new. But the lobby was quite small, and wouldn't do very well for business. It was disappointing that we didn't have breakfast included with the room, and their breakfast buffet wasn't anything speacial.

Location - close to old souq and airport..

Strangely laid out.

The Doha Seef Hotel is a strangely laid out hotel. I was upgraded to a suite, but it was a smoking room even though I had requested a non-smoking room. The furniture had numerous nicks and scratches. Other travelers complained about the layout of their bathrooms where they were not able to use the toilet without their knees hitting the wall.

Restaurant Tip : Excellent restaurants are to be had in the old Souq. It's about a three block walk from the hotel. Directions from the hotel can be a little sketchy. Just head towards the large teaching mosque (Madrassa). It has a ramped minuret.

Big rooms, comfortable bed, quite new hotel, central location

Small lobby, not very appealing.

my stay in Doha seef was overall good. First of all the price of this 4 stars hotel is worth what you get. Especially in qatar at the moment rates for 4 and 5 stars hotels are ridiculous because of the lack of accomodation. Rooms was big and clean. I did not try the breakfast so I can not say. Lobby is small but you do need more if you are on business. I would reccomend this hotel and I would stay there again.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff were awesome

Nothing at all

We were really amazed by the warm welcome we received. Due to a delay in our check in as the Reception staff were very busy, they gave us a junior suite which was quite a surprise to us. The room was excellent and the facilities were beyond our expectations. The staff were very helpful. The cafe was awesome and even the room service was quick and good value for money.

Shopping Tip : The Gold souq is just round the corner.

Doha Seef Hotel is a hotel I recommend to everyone who would like to stay when they are in a stopover. However shopping are little bit far from the hotel when you need to buy some groceries.Taxi are not too dear if you use the blue one instead of a limousine. Religious belief is openly free . \n
