The hotel met our expectations, and the interior decor and beauty are exceptional at an international standard. After check in, the service was good. However, our room was not what we had booked, and it took more than an hour to get things straightened out.

Very relaxing stay at Emirates. But very strict on dress code. Definitely security is too strict! the stopped me for wearing shorts and I said I have a reservation in the hotel. They forced me to put long trousers on, but afterwards at the desk I asked if I cannot where shorts in the hotel? The staff said it is fine only not in the entrance and restaurants of course! All the other area's are fine! Well I guess the security taught I had a reservation with the restaurant I guess... Security is way to strict which brings the actually value of the hotel as a holiday destination down because people want to relax in hotel!! Not annoyed by security!

Amazing hotel worth the hype and the price!!

We were simply blown away by this hotel. We saw it hyped in the movie "Sex and the City 2" and this is one of those cases where it really IS as nice as advertised. The rooms are huge, the service is great and there is so much to do around the hotel. Because the hotel is so big they conveniently have carts to take you all around the hotel. There are two pools, one for kids and the other for adults. There is also a nice beach next to the hotel. We wanted to do a lot of things in Abu Dhabhi but after staying in this hotel we rarely wanted to leave the premise! We will cherish these memories forever! Highly recommended!

They will steal your stuff. When you ask for cctv camera footage they will reply camera was not recording. They are bunch of criminals. They steal your mobile phones, ipads, laptops, , from open reception area and they steal your wallets and money while cleaning the rooms. You have been warned. Becareful, me and my fiancee lost mobile phone and couple hundred dollars along with a purse. We reported to police but the police also couldnt help us. Only the bu8lding and landmark is nice good for visiting just for few hours. No need to get a room there. Their staff were most worse seen in UAE.

The Hotel was built at an unusually grand scale but was lack of character. Service was generally good but not outstanding. We were able to check in at an earlier time than expected which was always a plus point. Pool area was amazing.
The Hotel was guarded with security staff throughout but some of them were quite rude and naturally assumed we were tourists without asking further just because we were carrying a big camera with us.

The price was thanks agoda very good and stay was perfect. It is not the Burj al Arab but the burj cost also4 times more. So if one wants to feel like 1001 and one night stay in Dubai at the Burj al Arab but when you want to have a good time, relaxed sphaere live music enjoy your stay the palace. The hotel is with lights even laser rays enhanced in the evening, so one enjoys the view from the hotel owned beach strolling along. Highly recommended.
