Lovely hotel with great pool area

this is a good hotel if you are staying for a few days in abu dhabi. the rooms are large and well equipped and the pool area is large, with plenty of loungers. the beach area is small but a bonus considering few hotels have their own beach in abu dhabi.
a drawback is that food is generally expensive (but then it is a five star hotel), however the lunch i had by the pool was lovely and good value for what i paid.
internet is very expensive if you want to connect your own laptop, iphone etc, but i found out that you can get free internet (basic browsing and email checking) through the tv if you request a wireless keyboard from housekeeping. worth noting if you only need to surf the net and quickly check emails rather than actually downloading things.
request a room with a pool view if possible - the others look out over a building site, which whilst not noisy, is not the best view!

staff are very courteous and polite, food was great in the restaurant with the international cuisine thou a bit expensive but great taste.
