i have stayed in this hotel during adipec 2012 and i have experienced my stay as very pleasant.
the hotel is clean, although a bit out dated (rooms can use a bit of maintenance in the bath rooms) and the staff, especially the concierges, are extremely helpful.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel offers a very nice breakfast buffet, everything is fresh and clean. The breakfast can be rated as very good.
If you are in need of any help, contact the concierge - they are extremely helpful, always available and at your service (no matter if you need a taxi, someone to turn on your television for the first time or if you want to order food from outside the hotel).

We had a 3 night stopover, The Hotel was great, and rooms were nice and fairly sized, we requested 2 baby cots and they fit perfectly in the room one on each side of the bed.
The fact that the hotel is the official Officers club of Abu Dhabi, everything was spotless. Having full access to all the facilities in the club makes its ideal for family, from the childrens playcentre, to the childrens pool... was plenty of room and space to simply sit down and relax,not to mention the Gym, fitness centre, squash courts, shooting range, and bowling alley... you wouldnt have to leave the hotel.
Great selection of food, The Buffet lunch was supperb with plenty of choices of food, from; shushi,arabic, italian, indian, asian, Roasts, all cooked freshly, and finished with most tropical fruits and plenty of desserts...
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you stay here, be sure to walk up to the centres top level, (level 3) there are plenty of couches to sit down on and read a book, with the sound of flowing water fountains in the background.

Impressive hotel and lovely chandeliers
sheer size and great rate for the week

i work near bani yas so this hotel was a nice mid-point between the city and my job. in two minutes i was on the expressway heading to work. and, conveniently, there was an adnoc quite close. it's a great launching point for visits to the grand mosque.
