I stayed there one night. I was upgraded to a suite on the 13th floor free of charge. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had good facilities (iron, drying lines for hanging laundry, iron, kettle, etc.). The location is convenient in the proximity of shops and bus stops. At first I found it difficult to find the hotel, but it was rather to my google maps not working properly.
Overall 8/10 in the USD 60-80 price range.
Travel tip:
Abu Dhabi is hard to navigate on foot or by public transport. Use cabs for short distances and buses for longer distances, such as for going to the Sheikh Zayed mosque (which I highly recommend - get there in the morning as the mosque is open from 9 am to 12 am only).

There is so much wrong here, it's hard to cover it all. But I'll try.
They claim free bottled water. However, it is only one bottle on your first day. Same with coffee or tea (i.e. not provided).
They claim an equipped kitchenette, but their idea of "equipped" is absurd. One frying pan, and 1 sauce pot. Oh...and no soap to wash either one if you use them. Only one electric hot plate was active (the gas burners were disabled). One stirring/scraping spatula, but no turning spatula (for flipping burgers or whatever). No knife, no cutting board, and no microwave. Also, no containers for leftovers. If you request any of these things you are told "no". Basically, why did they bother with the kitchenette at all?
Oh...and the freezer in the small fridge was so thick with ice that it was almost unusable. No space left.
Their rules for internet were equally stupid. You have to specify how long you plan to use the internet (1, 2, or 6 hrs is the max). If you sign-up for 6 hrs you need to consume the 6 hours. If you log out after 3 hrs instead of 6 hours then you have no internet access for 3 more hours because you logged out pre-maturely. If you sign up for 1 or 2 hours, it will cut you off when the time has elapsed rather than giving you the option to extend. Then you have to sign-up for more time. Like I said: stupid.
Don't stay here. This place is terrible.
