A Lovely Treat to a Full Day Itinerary
It's location, the extended pool timing, and the comfortable room.

I had a quick but pleasant stay in the hotel. The female receptionist is very friendly - quite disappointing though that the male staff are not.
I enjoyed the pool on the following day and the restaurant in the lobby offers delectable menus.

Concierce was unfriendly and not interessted in our complains about not working aircondition and watercooker. Apart from that it is a decent hotel with good price/quality balance.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were friendly.
They do a fantastic buffet breakfast, so if you can book one inclusive as there is lots of choice. The rooms were a good size and very clean, everything we needed was there. Taxis are just outside and a hotel car is available.

I felt reassured that this would be a pleasant hotel for our one night stay in Abu Dhabi. I am now wondering if there are two Sands Hotels as we had a very different experience from your other reviews. The staff were indifferent, verging on rude, the bathroom was dirty with hairs in the bath, the rooms worn out and depressing and the beds uncomfortable with one lumpy pillow; we were provided with one towel between two of us. Admittedly when I asked for additional items they were provided and if I had made more fuss maybe our room would have been upgraded but this should not be necessary. I am returning to Abu Dhabi in 3 weeks so hopefully better luck next time.
