Couples Philippines, June 01, 2013	Horizon Club Room Horizon Club, Room, Bord Eau Restaurant 9 I recommend upgrading to Horizon Club Room as you will have a bigger room with a much better view and access to Horizon Club where you will have ala carte breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and all-day refreshments. The staff in the Horizon Club are top-notch but the rest of the staff still needs training. Bord Eau Restaurant is a must try, it is now my favorite restaurant in the UAE, service is the best among all restaurants that I have been to in the UAE and the food is amazing. Report this review
Michelle K. Couples Australia, April 13, 2013	Absolutely amazing The service, the buffet breakfast and the beautiful surrounds/detail of the hotel 10 Our stay was amazing at the Shangri-La. We had no idea what to expect, but the staff were so welcoming, very friendly and helpful and made it feel as though you could ask them anything. We booked a safari tour through them which was incredible. We managed to book it only a few hours prior to the start of it which was excellent, worked out very well as we were only there for two nights. We were also provided with a bottle of complimentary water each in our room and we both drank them almost straight away. When we returned back to our room that night, they had been replaced again which was nice. The following day we took both with us again, only to return to our room with an extra two bottles each! They obviously noticed we were big water drinkers!! It was lovely that they paid that much attention. If I was to ever venture back to Abu Dhabi, although the hotel isn't exactly close to the city, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Amazing. Report this review
