A modern, new hotel in Abu Dhabi. The hotel is one tower of a four tower building the rest seemed to be apartments. The pool is on the top of the common podium bit on teh eighth floor so good views of the sea. The hotel seemed modern and business like and not many children whichwas great bonus for us. THe only poor design was that the bathroom was in the bedroom and only separated by a sliding door, however the rain shower was excellent.

decenty hotel in an excellent location

I had stayed in the Sofitel property in Bahrain where the service let me down in a big way but I do like the brand and I wanted to try this brand new property in Abu Dhabi. The reception was very warm. The pool is quite large and has decent loungers although the service at the pool could be better . The staff psent most of their time chatting with each oter in an aniumated fashion at the bar and little time serving the guests. they also boasted pormotions that they seemed to have no idea of at the bar itself. The see food restaurant is lacking in atmiosphere despite calling itself the best seafood restaurnat in town. You could die of boredoem here. The food was also not up to scratch in my view. Over all I was not overly happy with hotel as the rooms are very small but it did offer value for money. there was very little French about it sadly although all the staff adddress you with the customnary Bonjour, that is about it.
