Nice clean apartment style city hotel. I wouldn't have thought the hotel was 5 Star, maybe 4 but it was clan, efficient & good value for money.
We never ate in the hotel as the self catering facilities were good and there was a small supermarket on the doorstep. Ver convenient for Emirates Mall and connections to transport.

had difficulty finding the place. reached mall of emirates but couldn't find it as al barsha 1 is like an area name, no street name or number to locate exact location. we rented a car and the gps is not of great help. in the end, resolved it by getting a food delivery man rider to bring us there.
the place is clean and spacious. pool is beautiful (though not full olympic size) with a jacuzzi. sauna and steambath available but did not have time to utilize them.
the hotel is about 30min drive from city centre, taxi costs aed50 to 80 depending on traffic. near to burj al arab and atlantis, the palm. very near to mall of the emirates.
we were allowed to take shower at the pool side bathroom before departing to the airport at night. they close at 9pm though.
overall great hotel if you don't mind the location a bit away from city centre. anyway you don't go to city centre everyday. also for the price of it, it is still a good deal. walk in rate for a 2-bedroom apartment is aed (subject to tax) and we got it for aed (inclusive of tax)
Restaurant Tip:
The Pizza King opposite of hotel - acceptable pizza, tasteless onion soup, watery mushroom soup and dressingless Caeser Salad.

This was not my first time in Dubai, and I have stayed in a few different hotels previously. So I know the standard that this city can produce. This hotel meets none of these standards. Arrived for checkin just after 2pm. Was only one lady at checkin desk, and instead of dealing with one person at a time she was dealing with multiple people. This meant that nobody had her full attention and to get any service you had to interrupt her. Was very frustrating. Finally got to our room and had to call guest services twice within our first hour there as the kettle and washing machine were not working - both of these problems were solved quickly but was needless hassle. The next morning we discovered the toaster was broken but at that point we didn't bother reporting it. The pool on the roof was quite nice but there are very limited sun loungers and they are all located on one end of the roof meaning you need to step over other bathers and is not exactly a relaxing experience. The room was ok, nothing special. I felt that the rug and couch were dirty and a towel rack fell on me when I tried to get a towel. Went to Abu Dhabi for the day - left at 8am and returned at 6pm. 30 mins after returning housekeeping came! When we checked out they had to call a receptionist as not at desk which took about 5 minutes. Then had me fill out a questionnaire about the hotel - took it off me and started interrogating me about why I didn't like the hotel. All the while there is a cab outside waiting for me!

Had the opportunity to break journey in Dubai on my return leg from Latin America. This hotel was a big relief after a long and hectic trip. The machine machine and cooking facility provided was a big help. The room was spacious. The toilets are clean and of good size. This hotel is located about 15 min walk from the Emirates Mall and the MRT station. There is a small supermarket not very far from the hotel. Many eating places around the area. A tour desk near the reception is helpful in arranging for tours in Dubai at reasonable rate. My only regret was the kettle was not in working order and no attempt was made to repair or replace despite my complain.

Overall we had a pleasant 5 nights-stay at the Corp Executive Al Barsha Hotel. We had no problem getting our taxi to our hotel from the airport unlike what other reviews has mentioned before. Corp Excutive is a popular hotel for both locals and the foreigners from all over the world with its location near the Mall of Emeritus(5-10min walking distance)
The staff from the hotels are generally helpful esp the bell boy who offered to pay for our taxi fare(AED 80) first upon our arrival from the airport as the taxi driver refuse to accept our AED500 note(the smallest note we had). In addition, the bell boys are much knowledgeable about the train services and opening hours of various tourist spots and malls. They were more than willing to help us with our directions and enquiries. Kudos to the bell boys!!
As for the front desk staffs, it will be nice for them to serve a guest at a time. There were a few occasion when my enquiries to them were ignored or I was kept waiting for a good 10 min and with the staff returning without an answer for me or even forgetting my enquiries. Eg, upon our first arrival at the hotel, we needed to change a AED 500 note to pay our taxi. We asked the desk staff 3-4 times and they rudely replied that they had no change for us. However, after our check-in at the front desk, and I again asked for a smaller note change, and surprisingly now they had change as compared to 5 minutes ago. During the whole check-in process, I was there and noone added any notes into their cashier. Miracle huh? It will be great if the front desk staff can improve their attitude and serve with a smile.
Rooms are clean and large with the kitchen facilities. The sofa in the living room can be easily converted into a bed for 1. As for room keeping service, it seems a little inconsistent (maybe by different staffs). Alt. days btw excellent cleaning and days with dishes were not cleaned with soap residues or missing towels.
Better staff training will def help.
Hotel Feature Tip:
24-hr supermarket direct across the street. Able to get the food and water easily to cook meals in the apartment. 10 min walk to mall of Emeritus. Safe environment for female travelers. Free Wifi at hotel lobby and roof top swimming pool.
