Clean and comfortable, this hotel surpassed my expectations. The staff was helpful and prompt, the room clean and well-tended.
There was a fairly loud hum from a roof unit that was clearly audible in my room and the hallway. I stopped hearing it after an hour or so, but the first night it was a bit of a bother.
I chose this hotel because it was near the airport and the hospital where I was visiting an ailing relative. It was the least expensive of the three options I had, but you would never know it by the facilities and service. The lobby was beautiful, the staff helpful, the rooms spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The A/C in my room was cranked down to "refrigerate" when I walked in, but the fix was a quick turn of a dial away.
The food was expensive and the internet was not free - far from it - but I spent so little time there when I wasn't sleeping that it wasn't a bother.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The architecture of the city is almost worth paying a cab just to drive around for awhile. It's quite amazing.

very friendly staff to greet at the door.
Reception staff too busy chatting amongst themselves are rather than providing 100% attention to their guests
The room was very comfortable and clean. Portering services were excellent and easy reach to the Airport. Would recommend this hotel if you want a good night rest when in transit.
Hotel Feature Tip : arrive early to enjoy the Hotel facilities like the swimming pool and the excellent resturants.

Nice comfrtable rooms , great front desk staff
Breakfast staff must have thought they were all back in PI. Very average service
For a business traveller this hotel is excellent.Comfortable quiet rooms. Front desk staff who are very helpful and efficient and just around the corner from the Merdien Village where there are great Thai/ Italian restaurants and an Irish Pub.
The staff in the breakfast area were very slow and slack however this doesnt to me detract from this hotel.. as I told the shift manager its a pity because the rest of the team all try very hard.
This is a good hotel that I have no trouble recommending
