near by supermarket,shop and resturant Hotel condition is rather old and not quite I stayed in Al sham hotel dubai in 2 days
i think this hotel is quite convenience to go anywhere in dubai as this hotel is stay in city
even so this hotel around many shops, resturtant and supermarket
But overall, as the hotel condition is rather old and not quite so i also feel little bit poor for Room comfort.

Low cost, basic but good value food in restaurant. Rooms seem very old especially bathrooms. We chose this hotel for it's low cost. First impressions were not too good as the rooms looked a bit tired, especially bathrooms. However everything was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a limited menu in the restaurant,(and no alcohol) but the food was very good, and good value. It's not the best area of Dubai, but not far from the creek and the gold souk and spice markets. Overall good value if you are looking for a basic hotel in Dubai.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book a taxi if you need it through the hotel (hard to flag one down on the street), but negotiate your price first!

I have stayed in better back packers for $7 per night. The toilet leaked. No TV reception at all. The door to the balcony would not close at all. The room was not serviced properly so I had the same towels for 4 days. No soap or water replaced each day. It is a 20 minute walk to the gold souk and 30 minutes to the creek. Almost impossible to get a taxi during the day, the list goes on!
Travel tip : Book a hotel which has airport transfers as it is very difficult to get taxis even at 6 am.
