Conviently located to area I had other business.
Resturant food quality was satisfactory but on the expensive side. A single Thai entree from the menu, which should have cost in the $7-8.00 range was nearly $20.00. And according to the Dubai travel book was priced in the median range. Overall, the Ascot Hotel was satisfactory. I made a last minute reservation upon arrival in Dubai at 5:00 a.m. and the only problem I had was I arrived at the hotel prior to their hotel reservation personnel, so the desk clerk didn't not have access or confirmation of my on line reservation. I had to set and wait maybe 30 minutes for the reservations personnel to come to work to confirm I had a reservation. I asked them if I could log on to their computer and access my on line email confirmation and they said I would have to pay 30 dirhams for a internet password. So I chose to wait the 30 minutes instead. The room was nice although rather small. And all the water fixtures are reversed. So when you try to run hot water, weather in the sink or shower, you can run water all day and it will only be slightly warm due to the outside temperatures. If you want hot water you have to turn on the cold water fixtures and even that never got very hot.

Good location. Easy access to the shopping area and groceries. Public transports with in walking distance. The room decor is dark, which makes the room less lighted. Should be light colours. The staff very good and courteous.i did not like the room alloted to me. On request they immediately changed my room which was very nice. Very near to public transport like bus. Shopping also very near to the hotel. overall a good hotel to suggest my friends.

The room I had was renovated and everything is new. Good thoughts on location of power point. Location of hotel is good. Room is small. There was issue on the ironing board. Had to wait for quite a while and finally the housekeeping told me no available iron and ironing board and did the ironing for me. I had a nice newly renovate room but it was overall small. But the location of power points and was well though of. The sad thing was I do not get anymore free internet access. But the overall service for breakfast was good the check in was good. It is still a good hotel offering good rates and good location close to all amenities.

The room are newly refurbished, its good location to basic amenities like supermarket and restaurant The room are small, lighting are not well place for working in the room Overall the location is still good in terms of accessibility to facilities. It is a vibrant location where it do not get bored. It is within short ride to various shopping centre

The location of the hotel.
The variation convenient stores and supermarket around. My room this time was small because I was put in the older hotel. The room air con was hard to control and usually end up very cold. I stay here a second time because of my previous stay but this time I was put up in the older hotel and the room was not the same as the last time. Besides the room issue, all other things are fine with this hotel, they maintain good service level. And the proximity to various amenities like supermarket, money changers, food and beverage outlets. The very vibrant night activities make stay in this area very pleasant.

Room are huge and free wireless internet access.
Good breakfast spread.
Staff are attentive and alert. Problem with the wireless internet because my room was at a far end. I like the hotel because it is reasonable price and has big room. There are many supermarkets, shopping and Food and Beverage. A very vibrant area in the evening. Like the idea of free internet access. The service level is good and there are good facilities, swimming pool and gym.
The lobby area has good rest place for waiting and pick up.

They are divided into spacious living room and bedroom. Bathroom is also quite wide They have the first floor bar is open until midnight, music is a bit noisy Hotels in Dubai was so affordable, I got to get to the airport the first night at midnight, I was surprised at the size of the room. Imagine a hotel so compact was normal .... They are divided into bedroom and living room, bathroom was also quite wide. I moved from a beach resort hotel the next day, much wider than it is. I was more than worth the price. Restaurant after lunch I went to check out the next day "Yakitori house "Well, Japanese food is good and rich in fish meal.
Shopping Tip : There was a supermarket just across the road right before a large hotel, you can raise water or juice. Since water is higher ....
