It was ok, not more not less.
The hotel was ok, it met my needs, but I would expect some more basics. See below

The staff was very nice. Could have been a bit more helpful with giving directions to the sightseeing spots. The ones I got where wrong, so I wasted quite some time by getting off the wrong metro stations.
I travel a lot and for a hotel in this price category I usually expect some basic complementary things like 2 bottles of water per day, and some items in the minibar. The minibar was completely empty.
Since i was staying only one night, no big deal. I probably will not come again tough.

This hotel in Al Rigga is centrally located and just a step away from the sub-way that links to all parts of DXB, even airport terminals 1 & 3. The hotel also arranges shuttles to the beach and most of the big shopping malls. The staff are extremely helpful, and the good thing is that the front desk staff seem to stay on and you see familiar faces upon each return. The rooms are more than comfortable, quiet and restful. All in all, excellent value for money.

Only near to mini market, muslim restaurants and easy access by taxi.

the room is very cheap and you have all the amenities as those in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
the hotel is just across the metro station (union) and you have many small eating outlets by the hotel. very convenient. and if you don't want to eat these, there's a mc donald if you want to have some quick breakfast before heading to your activities.
the reception can arrange any tours you want to have but if you're a russian you have better choices of the tours.
i went there with my mother. great stay in dubai!
Hotel Feature Tip:
You can take the metro from the Terminal 1 or 3 if you don't carry much luggage but from the hotel to the airport, it's better to take the taxi cause 90% the train is kind of crowded.
