Lovely hotel in the old part of Dubai

The flora grand hotel is situated in al riqqa old dubai, it's quiet unique as its away from all the tourists,
And you are actually in an area where all the locals are.
The hotel itself is nice rooms are clean and you get free wifi.
The food was good too and the staff could not have been anymore helpful.
It is right beside the metro stop which will take you to Dubai Mall, or any other big attraction you want to do or see.
We also did safari 4WD in the desert which is just awesome.
All In all Dubai is good for a holiday to shop and to relax we would definitely return.
Shopping Tip:
Make sure you hit Dubai Mall really is something else!!!!!

This hotel have big rooms and reception staff are very helpful and service with a smile. Near few eating places and a walking distance to metro station. Room is very clean however the window is very small. On arrival the hotel have a shuttle service from airport to the hotel however there is a bit of confusion on the shuttle service on our date of departure. We were told that the shuttle service was full but we found out that there was an empty seat. We could hear people from the next room. Internet is free but became when you log on to other device, and you end up paying for the internet

This is a great Hotel and I try to stay here when I come to Dubai. The front desk staff are amazing and helpful. It has a great gym, pool, and restaurant. You are within walking distance to many restaurants and a nice mall.

The good points about this hotel is:
*great value for room type
*great front desk staff
*good food at a fair price (for in room and buffet)
*great in room service
Points to take note of:
*Dis-respectful buffet staff towards asians.
One of the staff refused to serve us coffee or clear the plates. He ignored us when we waved at him for assistance. However he was quick to assist other guests)
*Poor Concierge Service.
The staff did not explain fully about the tour we paid for. Since we went Dubai previously, we had a fantastic Desert Safari experience then. During this visit, not only was the planning poor, the tour was not as what was mentioned by the counter staff. We left with a bitter taste.
