Good sized 2 bedroom apartment A little noisy in the corridors when some families leave their doors open. We were very happy with the level of service we recieved. The front desk staff were very helpful. The rooms were very good and bathrooms( we had two in our apartment which was a nice surprise)were clean. Kitchen facilities were good and sufficient utensils. Worth noting when you book which Golden Sands you are staying at as there are 10 of them.

Key card does not work well with lift. Had to try a few times before getting it to work. The hotel is convenient, 10 minutes away from Dubai Airport. Though far away from newer malls like those in Jumeirah, nonetheless, it is near enough to some clubs along Sheikh Zayed Road. For those who want some peace and quiet but yet near enough to the action when needed, this is the place to stay in.
Nightlife Tip : Near Crowne Plaza. Good if you want to the nightclub Zinc and hang out with Emirates Airline crew.

Good location, Excellent Parking, Small kitchenette facilities . Comfortable room Internet in the business office , although free, was extremely slow, virtually unusable , although that may not be the hotel's fault. My wife and I stayed in Golden Sands 3 for three nights in June . We hired a car and using a GPS found the hotel without much difficulty ( despite several roads changing since the map was loaded)
The room was very clean and comfortable and included a small kitchenette with microwave , benchtop hob , plates cutlery etc , and even a washing machine/dryer.
We met a friend and he stayed with us for two nights , so we asked for a roller bed. We were horrified to be told it would cost 350 Dirhams per night , and we accepted a compromise of 200 Dirhams per night ( still seemed outrageous ).
It would be helpful if the kitchenette included some dishwash liquid and something to dry dishes etc .
Good exercise room and nice clean pool.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Wild Wadi Adventure Park is brilliant

Just 15 minutes drive from the Dubai International Airport, and less than 5 minutes away from the Dubai Museum, the Heritage village, the shopping district, schools, transportation, employement centers and various other leisure activities. Bur Dubai is a very upcoming area and targets Asian, Europeans, Americans and other nationalities too. Offers hi-fi living and comprisies of various other sub areas. The World Trade Centre and convention halls are also just 5 minutes drive away.
