Overall a good hotel for the money paid, location was good. We had complained about the maintenance been done due to the noise, we had an early flight, they apologised and gave us a fruit basket for the inconvience. All tours are well organised, pick up and drop off at the hotel provided, help was provided by staff when required.

Clean rooms, staff friendly. Well organised tours.

Only hotel I have been to that has a pool with no pool towels provided. Maintenance was done on the air conditioner above our room, no one notified us that the work was going to be done, very noisy.

The hotel is in a quiet location well connected to the main road. The rooms are neat and clean, 3 star grade. The only thing missing is Wi-Fi in the room which is a must. The food quality was not so good.

The hotel is good and in a quiet location. Restaurants and nightclubs are nearby within walking distance.

No Wi-Fi in the room. I was unable to use the free Wi-Fi in the coffee shop. Getting taxi from hotel is difficult.

The place is excellent for a family vacations with amenities like health club, swimming pool etc. Dance bars which can be seen at most of the hotels around Dubai are missing and it make the place worth staying with the family. Needless to say the stay is very comfortable with kitchen at hand and internet connectivity is available at the cafe. Recommended for a visit with family.

The apart-hotel is centrally located and complimented with peace and tranquility. Staff is friendly and rooms are bigger. Perfect for people visiting with family as all amenities for kitchen are provided. Grocery store is nearby to meet the requirements.

While check in and check out, the process is slow and it reflects all the more when family (with children) is accompanying.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is walking distance from BurJuman Shopping Center. Nice place to visit with family.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days when we visited Dubai. I didn't think it was in the most convenient location, but we could still get around easily with a cab. I was happy to see that the unit includes a washer and dryer. We stayed in the Golden Sands 5 -- I think this is the only one that includes complimentary in-room Internet (you just need to ask the front desk for an ethernet cable). I didn't think the staff was very helpful though when we inquired about sightseeing, etc.

The accommodation is excellent. But every room must have a free wireless connection. This has now become a prerequisite and is no longer a luxury. Although the hotel does provide free wireless connection in the restaurant, it is very inconvenient as one would prefer to work from the room.

wi fi is only in cofee shop. which is not the good for a business traveller. they will not provide even a single water bottle complimentry. The sauna is not good and clean. The bathroom is very small.

The stay was very comfortable, the apartments are ideally located in Bur Dubai district, so any business in Bur Dubai, Sh Zayed Road or Jumeriah can easily be managed from there. The one issue is the high traffic volume in the evening, but that is now true for all places in Dubai. Parking and Wifi is a big plus, as other hotels/apartments charge extra for it, and parking in nearby lots are a nuisance. Booking through AGODA was fun and simple, the Instant Confirmation boost my confidence in the site and I will be using it more frequently for my trips to GCC, Europe and Far East. Overall very good stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Golden Sand Hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent within a short distance to many shopping areas and restaurants. The facility of providing car park for the guests is a superb idea as we all know getting a car park in Dubai is a nightmare... I have recommended this hotel to all my family members and friends.

Room service is very poor, needs at least two bell boys, at present only one. During morning peak hours only one person on reception. Others chit chat. Good hotel and room, but poor service.
