Very convinient location.
Value for money, helpfull staff

The hotel is continently located and there is a metro station nearby. Lots of option for food available around the hotel. I needed transportation to be arranged from the hotel to cricket stadium and hotel staff were helpful enough to arrange for pickup and drop service at a reasonable rate.

When we arrived at the hotel, we did not have our passports with us. so we could not check in.. We were spending the weekend in Dubai as we live in Abu Dhabi, so we had to drive all the way back home to get our passports otherwise we would hav lost our money.. Agoda should have clearly stated that we need passports.. otherwise hotel was a pleasent stay.
Travel tip:
Carry passports otherwise u cant check in

Lovely hotel with prompt service
you find all what you need in the room

My stay with my family was nice , my wife loved the cleanness of the room and toilet. staff were helpful all the time
Things may need improvements :
they didnt help us make early check in or late check out
swimming pool without official lifeguard
not easy to reach the hotel parking lot entrance from the back because of construction.

you can find many restaurants and grocery around the hotel.

Excellent hotel but no prompt service.
Excellent location with access to variuos types of transport for shopping, site seeing etc.

Had a good and happy stay in the hotel but in case of room service - not enough bed linen changes and in adequate towel changes.
Shopping Tip:
Excellent location closer to the train station for various shopping (Mall of Emirates, Dubai Mall, Hotel Al Arab etc.) and site seeeing places.

We took 2 connected rooms and stayed for 2 nights at the Golden Tulip Albarsha over the Eid holidays (the holiday that comes after Ramadhan in the Muslim calendar).
Checking in was quick and efficient, room size was adequate, but the rooms seem to be in need of a makeover, as the fittings and furniture are starting to show their age.
After 4 hours drive from Oman, we had a quick shower, and ordered a meal for the kids, and this was a very pleasant surprise. The kids room service menu was excellent, and the burgers that we had were top notch, and not overly priced.
The hotel is very close to the Dubai Metro station of albarsha, it is actually a walking distance from the hotel.
Like many places in Dubai, Albarsha is a fast developing area with construction cranes all over the place, so expect early wakeup calls from jackhammers and electric saws.
A final thing to note, if you are a light sleeper, take rooms at the top floors, 4th and above. The Golden Tulip Albarsha has a popular night club that closes at 3 in the morning, so you will get a base drum noise all the way to wee hours of the morning if you stay at the lower floors.
Restaurant Tip:
Vert good menue, above average breaksfast buffet and prompt kitchen staff services. Try the burger.
