Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great central location, can walk to the Abra (river ferry) in 10 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants near by.
Nice clean rooms, that have been modernised.
Bathroom drains smell (make sure you close the plugs when you've used the bath / sink!
Breakfast is very Indian orientated.
Night front desk staff are not very helpful.
This is a decent clean hotel, with good, modern rooms, located in a good spot in Bur Dubai, close to the city centre, and an easy cab ride to most other things. The inclusive breakfast was pretty poor though, and the rooms as others have said did smell of drains unless you closed the plugs and shut the bathroom door, but it wasn't that bad!
On arrival at 1:30am the front desk staff where pretty unhelpful, and I thought the loud music from the night club was bound to be heard in my room, (it wasn't).
Lastly this is an Indian neighbourhood of Dubai, with lots of interesting things to see close at hand.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the short walk (10 Minutes) down to the river, walk through the old Suke, then get the Abra (ferry) over to the other side and the Gold Suke. The Abra runs till 11pm and costs Dhr1.

Excellent location for shopping in the nearby Minaar Bazar. Cheap transport available, as bus stop(s) are just a few meters away. Rooms are more than okay, clean, the rooftop small pool too. In-house breakfast okay, too. Restaurant (buffet dinner) is sensible, too.
It is not one of those "great places for billionaires" you might expect in Dubai, but a nice and pleasant place though I don't like the vicinity to the "Indian Nightclub" on the ground floor - it's noisy at times. You won't hear it on the higher floors, though.
For a few days' stay in Dubai I like this place - my wife and I have stayed there seven times up to now and will do so agian. There are many better places in Dubai - who wonders? - but not so many which are as clean and okay for a short or medium term stay as this one, regarding the price. It is close to the older parts of Dubai, excellent bus connections to almost everywhere in town right in front of the hotel (okay, 20 to 30 metres away). Food is not impressive, but convenient. For a first visit to Dubai, I recommend this place very much - for a second visit you can grade yourself up to one of the "glitzy" places should you want so.
Shopping Tip : Dubai is said to be very "upmarket". This place and its vicinity prove that there are "normal shops and normal people in Dubai", too. But of course the famous Dubai Malls are within reach, too.

The hotel is located in a very good location in Dubai and it is also a famous hotel in Dubai so you can reach it easily, some rooms have sea view, it is recommended for family and singles as well, the small outdoor swimming pool at roof floor is enough for a short amazing stay, and the breakfast contains delicious food with too many items.
